Ricky Hatton Vs Floyd Mayweather Jr. Information:

Ricky Hatton and Floyd Mayweather Jr. have finally agreed on terms to meet in the ring. They will be squaring off in a greatly anticipated battle on December 8, 2007 at The MGM Grand Garden Arena.

It took a while for both sides to iron out a deal, and financial terms of the agreement have not yet been released to the public. But one thing is for sure; this fight is going to command a lot of attention both live and via a pay per view audience. In fact, this is undoubtedly the biggest non heavyweight fight in the last few years.

There are many reasons that this fight has been met with great anticipation. Ricky Hatton is one of the most popular boxers and Mayweather Jr. may very well be the best pound for pound fighter in the entire world.

Both of these fighters are laying a lot on the line on December 8th at The MGM Grand. Mayweather will earn his biggest purse yet, but in order to earn it he will have to beat one of the sports best fighters. And for Hatton, he has never backed down from a fight, and it is obvious that he is not doing so this time. Instead of padding his record and bank account with bouts against lesser known fighters, he has decided to take on Mayweather Jr.

But lets not forget BIG things come in SMALL packages............

I think Hatton will win on points, though that would be a small miracle as we know how unbias judging is in the USA

I don't belive Hatton can win on points to be honest. Just don't see it. He has to knock out PBF, which is an ask.

I was looking on boxrec, PBF has never had a KO, which i was surprised at. So i think maybe the power is with Hatton.

I do think that PBF will be put down, if he can get up then he win's. I think it'll be a hard test for both of them, however i think it'll all depend on who wants it more.

The only way Hatton will win is if he can knock Floyd out! If it goes the distance then Floyd will win without a doubt but I can see Hatton catching him!
