epsomray (U10759891) posted Jan 2, 2008 Belleti is a typical Brazilian player who likes to get forward and can sometimes forget his defensive repsonsibilities. Unfortunately football today does not breed full backs in the way they did like, Ron Harris, Eddie McCreadie, Paul Reaney, Terry Cooper etc. The modern day game with it's big monetary rewards breeds player that feel they should be recognised for they fancy footwork and flair, rather than their good old fashioned defensive ability.
