A good deal for Real?

Real Madrid
comment on the article

Real Madrid are set to unveil both Arjen Robben and Gabriel Heinze later on Thursday after their Premier League swoop.

Madrid have been chasing Robben for a while and have now captured their man after he agreed to leave Chelsea for around £21m.

Heinze moves to the Bernabeu after a tricky summer which saw his preferred move to Liverpool blocked by Manchester United.

Have Real Madrid made a couple of smart signings?

Or is this better business for Chelsea and Manchester United?

Your thoughts if you please.

let me get this straight robben has been injured what twice or three times ( im talkin major injuries like months) and chelsea fans and everyone is saying oh its good to let him go as hes injury prone .
but if man utd sold rooney (who has had 2 major injuries) to real you would all be saying its a good deal as he is injury prone ??

think about it!!

-----------------------------------------------

Rooney's injuries could have happened to anyone. He was just at the wrong place in the wrong time. The causes of the injuries to Robben would not have had the same impact on Rooney.

And besides, both of those two Rooney injuries in the past came during the off-season. Only now has he had an injury during the season.

I think that this is a good deal for chelsea for getting £21.5m for Robben. For once we have made an exeptional profit on one of our players.

I am sad to see robben leave chelsea as he has been one of our most exciting players. But because of Robbies injuries and not able to keep a regular sarting 11 position it makes alot of sence that he is gone and i understand why he wanted to leave. I wish Robben lots of good luck for his future and success at Real Madrid.

hahahahahahaha
real madrid are a joke. they jst buy players to buy and spend money. they spent around 120 m euros. not that they bought the greatest players in the world. what they did is buying rubbish defender, average midfielder, and underachieving winger. though I believe robben has the talent to become one of the best players of his generation, he is inconsistent and very selfish. as a barca fan i just can't wait for saturday to see madrid thrashed by atletico in the bernabeu.
the title will be back to where it belongs!
the catalans are back!
vamos barca!

real madrid r better than chelsea , chelsea r the worst team ever they go out and spend millions and win nothing lol they r a pack of idiots just like the supporters

where are you from?

Chelski win nothing?? I'm a Man Utd fan and even though I dislike their way of playing. Real Madrid won what in the last 5 years?? Oh yeah one league championship...

Correct me if Im in the wrong, isn't Real Madrid the team that buys nonsensically and in bulk and then doesn't win and then fires a coach because they are so fickle minded.

Last time I checked Real was the joke (when compared to Chelski).

you're a nut! smiley

Anyways about the actual topic... I think Heinze is a steal, considering Real broke the city bank the last time (for Carlos).

As for Robben as long as he doesn't get injured and starts to believe in team play (read as passes the damn ball) he might be worth the 21 or whatever they paid for him.

Casillas, Ramos, Helguera, Cannavaro, Drenthe, Robinho, Guti (or Baptista), Sneijder, Robben, Van Nistlerooy, Raul. How could they not win the title again this season. Brilliant back up players like Heinze and Higuain. Barca wont compete especially is ronaldinho moves to Chelsea (even tho i think he wont)
