Freddy Eastwood's debut goal against Bulgaria gave manager John Toshack possibly his best results in nearly three years in charge of Wales....just a shame it was a friendly!
After watching the first 15 minutes, I thought it would be a case of damage limitation for Wales.
Bulgaria ran the inexperienced Wales midfield ragged and Sam Ricketts looked all at sea as the right wing-back.
But Wales somehow managed to keep their shape and then Eastwood delivered some solo magic - could this be the first of many for him in a Wales shirt?
Wayne Hennessey also deserves a special mention for an outstanding display, although Toshack was typically economical with his praise in the post-match interview saying "that's what goalkeepers are there to do"!
It was a great result against a strong Bulgaria side, but I can't see Germany wasting as many opportunities in Cardiff next month.
