Wouldnt nugent av been a better signing. Moyes was reluctant to pay 2 much 4 nugent yet willing 2 spend 11.25 on Yakubu?

------------------
do u just talk bcos others are talking ? u have to think first b4 u say anything.. who is Nugent?? he doesnt even have a place at portmouth.. we are talking abt someone u are sure of and has a premierleague scoring experience even against big teams..If u would pay that much for nugent good luck to you

I know boro have lost the Duke and Yak, but Duke was a sick note and wanted too much money i hope he does well as he did well for us and along with woodgate kept us up last season.
I do however think that Mido, Aliadiere and Luke young are 3 fantastic signings for us. I cant believe Everton payed 11.25 Million for Yakubu hes good but as a boro fan watching him was always frustrating, never tracked back and dont think he had an asist to his name (or none that i can think of)
---------------------
u are funny, u claim to watch games u didnt know how many assist he has to name? perhaps u should have read the bbc statistic for last week where they shouwed how many goals, passese, shots and stuff that he made.. From that BBC statistic listing Anechibe, jognson, yak and macc fadden .. yak has the greatest assist quoted by bbc..no to mention his goal.. there were some aspect that the other strikers beat him, but im just telling u abt that assist aspect.. and if u say u didnt miss him well too bad cos i know u are lying your leading scorer since he was there.lets say he didnt score for sometime why didnt another striker score??? and topple him in terms of numbers of Goal........... look deal with your manager first and start to build from there like u said.."building a team"
You said u wondered by Eveton paid that much and at the same time u said yak gave u guys good money,to me u are confused maybe u think moyes is stupid..Your club knows he's not a good player and yet tried to keep him and your placed big money on him.. do u think everton fixed that amount....... pls think

yakubu 11.5 mill.
bent 16.5 mill
well hows this
benni mcarthy 2.5 mill
santa cruz 3.5 mill
well hughes is the better man.two class sticker for half of one.

============================

both santa cruz and benni mcarthy were unproven premier league strikers but yakubu and bent are so blackburn took a big gamble signing them. and santa cruz still hasnt proved himself. he needs to have atleast a season or two to do that. but when youse boughts santa cruz he was bayern munichs 4th choice striker so he is obviously going to be chep

the problem with nugent though is that he hasnt got big league experience and is not that much of a prolific goalscorer whereas Yakubu is.
Lookin forward to seein him in the royal blue

If Yakubu and Johnson play to their full potential we have got to be looking at the best EFC strikeforce since Sharp and Lineker. Even if they don't cut it we have McFadden, Anichebe and Vaughan in the wings also. Yakubu and McFadden may even be the best suited pairing.

I hope Yak has shut his critics up................
I told u will still be among the first 6 scorers in the league. he must still get 15goals and above as he has always did
