Christie quits Inverness Caley Thistle

Scottish Premier
comment on the article

Are Caley Thistle fans sad to see Charlie Christie go?
He stabilised the club after Craig Brewster walked out on them and always made life difficult for SPL opponents, despite working with a shoestring budget.
And who would you like to see replace him in the dug-out at the Caledonian Stadium?
Would supporters welcome Brewster back for a second spell?

Warnock would be different but good for ICT. There`s a fair argument for Brewster though... & remember you`d be getting a player as well! Not sure about Robertson at all? He seems to move posts with great ease... but at least when Brewster left it was for the team he supported, which they all do at some point if they`re given the chance!

Hello from a travelling Caley Supporter - please do not take Craig or John back, we will all regret it. If Warnock won't come then find someone new with passion and pay the right price, the cost of not paying the right price is much higher!!

County boys worry bout your own problems and the impending part time football. As for Caley we can only move forward, the interest from Warnock is exciting. It can't be denied he's a great manager who could take the club to a new level, play attrative football and sort out the defense. And with Gretna in the league we should be safe. So here's to the near future.

Hands off Owen Coyle not that there's probably any truth in the rumour, he seems to be linked to any job that becomes vacant in the premier league (Dunf last season, Motherwell this) despite signing a new contract and having a long term plan at Perth.
Also the comment about not taking back robertson because he didn't leave for the team he supports a la brewster, correct me if I'm wrong but Robertson is a Hearts legend and wasn't that the team he left ICT for??!

Duncan Shearer deserves a shot at the big time, Duncs done his trade in the highlands with Buckie and would do a good job for the jags. The bonus with Brew is you get an experienced target man who can still hold his own as he proved against the champions on sunday.

Sad to see Christie go!

Why even think Brewster - what did he do in Dundee when they were in the same position???
Warnock for me!

Craig brewster is the right guy for the job. Yeh he left for United, but that was the team he supported as a boy and there is no one who wouldn't have done the same. I recon he's learned a lot from the experience, and is big enough to admit he got it wrong, and the bonus is he's still got the legs and heart for the game as can be seen everytime he steps on the pitch. Bring back brewster is what I say!

Bring back Steve Paterson. He did a great job the last time he was here.Yes,he has had his personal problems (haven"t we all) All thats behind him now. Come on ICT board. He is the best manager we have ever had.He is the one guy who can realistically get us into top 6 every year.
