agree with all who've said Gallas injured is no insurmountable loss, but Lehmann is the big problem. Sorry, jens, mein freund, thanks for all you've given us, but yer time's up. no room for passengers - or pensioners

Its high time Lehman came bak to his senses coz the 2 mistakes he made in 2 games are so costly, on Willies i feel Sandalos can do his best as we ve seen him do that.

IMO, Arsenal has more utility players than any team this season and that shows the tactical and sensible buys that Arsene Wenger does... There is more unity in the team than before and it shows in the team's body communication... We needs Gilberto to come back and do what he does but sincerely, Flamini has been really impressive since pre-season... Arsenal for Premiership and champions league...My mortgage, anybody

Erm... dont like Gallas too much! Just seems to me as if Wenger has given him everything he wants. First Bergkamps number 10 shirt and now the captain armband.! Gallas has obviously considered leaving the club at one stage so Wenger has gone out of his way to keep him here with gifts Gallas has not worked enough to deserve! Gallas hasn't been here too long, he's injury prone so why him and not someone like Kolo Toure get the captaincy! I dont think we will miss Gallas at all if it was not for the terrible Senderos who is just one big slow and very poor defender for us! Its time Wenger buys another central defender or two really.!

A bit of trouble Gallas is a great player last season we kept alot of clean sheets with him and he's a good goal scorer so i think we might sturggle quiet a bit without him.
but i think we should start senderos in the center and play gallas on the left... dont get me wrong clichy is great but sometimes i wonder if he plays left midfield of left back.
Senderos is great he defends well aswell as attacks and is great and getting the ball out of the box. And with Gallas bombing up and down the wing we could get a few goals in.I no its not his favourite posistion but i dont think he would mind seeing as he is our new captin.

gallas is injured ,it might take him several weeks or more ,all i expect is a captain band been given to kolo toure he,s been outstanding over the past seasons,working tiredless keeping the back clear of dangers and at the same time a goal scorer.
his team spirit is also great i just want wenger to hand over the captaincy to him till big willie resumes.
captaincy hopefuls....gilberto da silva,ces fabregas,jens lehman!

gallas is only fortunate bcos he does not deserve the hand band, kolo toure has beeb outstanding all this while. but wenger is matured enough to diplomacy

i love arsenal bcos, the team so much believes in young talents and hopes of the future. which i think is best for any team that would leave to be great.

how many times is this going to happen. Remember last season when gallas got injured, they saisd it was for 3 weeks or so. I feel arsenal should find areplacement captain for the whole season. Gilberto would be a good choice.

As a coach,if you are not confident and proud of what you have been building for the past ten years then you are fake. I love the way Asene Wenger shows confidence in his players and surely they are delivering.Fellow Gunners let us SUPPORT this man.Those coaches who depend on others to develop players and are just willing to spend lavishly on USELESS players will be shocked one day when no delivery will be achieved.
