"I'd like to see how arsenal or United would do if they lost their best 4 players to injury"

I seem to remember last season Arsenal walked all over spurs with their youth team, and managed still to finish 4th without Henry and Van Persie for atleast half the season, and defensive injuries, Gallas, Clichy, Eboue, Senderos...

Man Utd will be missing Ronaldo and Rooney when you play them so that cannot be an excuse when you get thumped by little Paul Scholes!

Well, at the moment Spurs can at least say they're ahead of Man U in the league.
Arguably Spurs have had the easier of the 3 games, but Man U would have expcted to have 9 points by now.

Remember, we had an equally terrible start last season then pulled ourselves up to 5th so why not 4th this year. Arsenal fans are so quick to judge us on our first two games, and preach about their own misfortunes through injury/referee decisions etc etc but I think it's because they don't want to admit that Spurs are a potential threat to their reign in London, and 4th spot. On a separate note, I was pleased that Malbranque got the goal right in the first 2 mins, rather than putting it in his own like he did against Sevilla. He's obviously had a productive off-season!

We'll know a lot more about where Spurs are after the Man U game on Sunday. After their poor start a home game against the weakest team in the Premier League is just what they needed. Their defence looked terrible in the first 2 games and they'll be under a lot more pressure against Man U and most other teams from here on in. Until they can keep regular clean sheets they'll never make the top 4.

I'm happy Spurs have 3 points on the board, let's hope this is the beginning of their winning run!
