norbs27 (U4692700) posted Aug 20, 2007 Remember, we had an equally terrible start last season then pulled ourselves up to 5th so why not 4th this year. Arsenal fans are so quick to judge us on our first two games, and preach about their own misfortunes through injury/referee decisions etc etc but I think it's because they don't want to admit that Spurs are a potential threat to their reign in London, and 4th spot. On a separate note, I was pleased that Malbranque got the goal right in the first 2 mins, rather than putting it in his own like he did against Sevilla. He's obviously had a productive off-season!

rockkrarmy (U9448697) posted Aug 20, 2007 We'll know a lot more about where Spurs are after the Man U game on Sunday. After their poor start a home game against the weakest team in the Premier League is just what they needed. Their defence looked terrible in the first 2 games and they'll be under a lot more pressure against Man U and most other teams from here on in. Until they can keep regular clean sheets they'll never make the top 4.
