Ask Ollie a question

Championship Plymouth Argyle
by Chris Charles (U1647500) 17 August 2007
comment on the article

The Plymouth manager gives his views on the week's events in football and beyond.

This week he talks about his forthcoming autobiography, great wins for England and Scotland and drawing West Ham in the League Cup.

Ollie also gives his verdict on Led Zeppelin reforming and sharing a bathroom with five women.

But what would you like to ask him? Send in your questions and we'll pick out a couple for him to answer next week.

Apologies if yours doesn't get used this time - but keep trying!

If you could sign one player from the Championship to play for Plymouth with money not being a factor. Who would you sign?

Well hello there Mr Holloway! Now Mourinho has gone, will you be re-newing your interest in signing Scott Sinclair on loan? I think he would be the icing of the cake for the squad!

Do you ever get frustrated that Plymouth doesn't have the luxurious finances that some other clubs seem to have at their disposal to buy players? (and effectively buy their position in the championship?)

Assuming this is how one addresses a question to Ollie...
Hiya mate, love your column, always have - but do you really know that little about Women's footie?! I guess we're spoiled in Sweden. I used to help coach some local teams, including Sunnanå, home to Sweden's Nr4 Hannah Marklund. It might interest you to know that the Brazilian forward you mention could well be Marta, who has played her football in the next town to here, Umeå, for a few seasons now. She does have some pace, yes - but where do you see England's women in 4 years' time, given they held off the USA for an hour or so this weekend? Sweden's well off the boil having been runners up in 2003. DO you follow the English Women's League? Great to see Liverpool back up there winkeye

How much did Maxi manage to get taken off him in all that furore after the Stoke game? I heard it was a lot.

Ollie, hope you are well.

I am a West Ham fan, but I love what you are doing at Argyle (some unlucky results aside it seems to be going ok). All the best for the game tonight, let's hope it's a great one (but with The Irons winning of course).

Quick question. What have you been feeding Barry Hayles? He's looking great.

Good luck againt Wolves at the weekend. Sign up Ebanks-Blake longer term as he is looking like a great prospect (fancy him for the Hammers).
