not happy at the west ham signings at all,as was shown on saturday, absolute rubbish besides green, ashton & noble, 6 million for dyer who is always injured and costs that in medical bills is a joke, a dyer purchase(excuse the pun)and once again shows panic buying and over inflated prices, interesting to se how much he is on a week

Dyer is a great player when fit. He's main problem is he is injured far to often. If he can curb his lust for the nightlife and keep injury free he might turn out to be the best signing west ham have made this season.

bluestozza, I think one of the worst players going is a little bit harsh, don't think many people would begrudge him earning a living as a professional footballer if he could stay off the injury tabel and out of trouble on / off the pitch.

Overated maybe, as bad as Heskey, no way.

I don't understand why WH have signed two, over-hyped, potential trouble makers. Last season's poor start was partly blamed on bad dressing room relationships - that's why reo and Harewood left. Now WH have Bowyer, Dyer and Bellamy ! I hope their egos won't get the better of them.

A leopard doesn't change his spots.

His problems on and off the pitch are well documented.
Why are things going to be different because he's at WH?

i come back from my holiday in Italy and then soon find out Dyer has signed for West Ham.

Newcastle will surely be better off without him now he's gone, scott parker becomes a trouble maker himself by saying 'the expectations at SJP are unreallistic', what sort of a loyal player is he?

ok, if you don't like this club and don't want to play for us, then take your rubbish and get out!!! same applies for Dyer if he's snubbing us too. even though i hoped he'd have a change of heart he obviously never would, so now i'm glad he's gone.

all he's doing along with Parker and what Bellamy's done too is taking a step down laugh !!! captain's armband indeed, Glenn Roeder was out of his mind as it is!! Alardyce is doing a much better job so far than him as it is, especially with buying players smiley !!

I just can't - honestly - agree with people who are saying: "He is a great player when fit."

Oh, for heaven's sake! We've seen him play for the past half decade and even when he is fit, he doesn't look like he even bothers!

Last season, he kept jogging around and on very few occasions made willing runs, very rarely he made a forward pass (most of his passes were backpasses) and squandered a lot of chances. He runs fast and then doesn't notice his teammates or even if he does, he doesn't have the technical ability to pass/cross to them!

You would have been better off with Harewood.

Hey just look at the 'Kieron Dyer Picture Gallery', hardly sensational. Good deal for NUFC!

bump

just wanted to remind you all of the terrible blunder of buying a chronically injured player and remind you that your fears of his longterm injuries have been confirmed...i couldnt have written the script better
