Who will win in Turkey? It's hard to guess, it could be ferarri but these race is a chance for Alonso to show why he is a double world champion.Ferarri's are gonna be very quick in turkey the circuit suits them well.
When I say ferarri i mean Kimi it's the last moment for him to start closing the gap.
Kimi&Alonso will fight for the win that's my opinion.
Who knows maybe i am wrong maybe it's going to be another one for Hamilton.
P.S
BMW's can cause problems for ferarri and Mclaren.

Should be a good race, Hamilton had an amazing race at Turkey in GP2 last year where he spun the car, dropped down to 22nd(ish) and managed to get 2nd place! So it'll be interesting to see what he can do in the Mclaren.

I'd like to see the Ferrari's up there, the car should suit Turkey nicely and Massa was flying last year, but methinks the Mclarens could well have the beating of them.

I think Kimi has to be the early favourite.

Both Ferrari drivers have one here before (the only ones to win).

It's odd when I remember individual qualifying laps a few years on, but I do remember Kimi's quali lap here in 2005. He took a completely different (and much faster) line around turn 8 (the line that everybody takes now) to win pole.

He will be very comfortable here.

It will be interesting to see how much the McLaren team has come together by then and how the team strategy gets played out.

Whether or not Alonso is completely on the outs with the McLaren team by race weekend he will still see Hamilton as his key opponent rather than the Ferraris.

Alonso has got to pull a trick out of his sleeve. He's got to confuse the results in testing, since he's battling his own team mate and the team is more than willing to benefit Hamilton with Alonso's setup info; there are spies within the team.

Alonso did well last year but I have my doubts for this year. I see a second or third for Alonso this year....depends on if Hamilton gets his rocks off on vacations. Could zap that youthful drive if he's been serviced behind the scenes....

I'd love to see a come back for Massa as he deserves/ needs a win but see a Kimi placement before Massa. Kimi has been more consistent.

I agree, BMW is going to be the surprise contender and the "wrench" in everyone's plans.

1st Kimi
2nd Alonso/ Hamilton
3rd Hamilton/Alonso
Then Heidfeld (passed in the pits...?)

I'd love to see the BMWs in the mix, but I think Istanbul is a bit too "high performance" for them to be truly in contenders, unless they've taken an incremental leap forward during the break.

It should be a Ferrari 1 - 2, kimi then massa. but given their track record, some silly mistake is going to compromise one of them. I think the real battle will be for third between LH, FA and Heidfield.

For those who say, Turkey suits Ferrari..
Kimi won in the McLaren in 2005 beating Alonso in the Renault [JPM was 3rd] and Massa won in 2006 beating Alonso in the Renault [MS was 3rd] after Kimi's accident, [also Dela Rosa was 5th.]
So it could be the closest race so far this year, with all four drivers capable of delivering the goods.
As always car and driver fatigue is key in Turkey and the reliability of the F2007 will need to be solid [for the remaining races], if Ferrari are gonna stay in touch with McLaren.
IMO
It's Ferrari's [Kimi over Massa] race to lose.
Alonso with two second places there, is probably Fav over Hamilton, although we'll see what happens in Qualifying. winkeye
BMW will be up there and could make the podium again, if any of the top four have problems.

It's such a great track (on playstation...), with quite a few very fast and challenging bends. I can smell an advantege for Ferrari, but you never know, McLaren beat them at Indianapolis.
Looking forward to the 25th August for the qualifying sessions.

If the car stays reliable, then my money is on Hamilton...Alonso is a cry baby, and jealous of Hamy...just like Mika, he cried when he lost to MS. Alonso will leave and disappear...

Hamilton was mighty around this circuit last year. He spun off, dropped to last and then drove like a possessed demon on speed who has a screaming pregnant woman in labour next to him, or like a policeman trying to get to the donut shop before it closes, or almost as fast as an average white-van man, to tear his way through the field and finish second.
