First half Arteta was class and he should of had a penalty from where i was positioned. How people say that he shouldn't get in the Spanish team need to actually watch him play, hes world class and the best spaniard in the premiership. He could easily get into any other team in the premiership. As for the match i thought it was comfortable but sat back when i thought they where there for the taking. We desperately lack creativity and pace in the middle of the park and we still play too long balls. Pienaar looks neat and tidy and never gave the ball away aswell as having a big part in our second goal. Anichebe done well but needs to challenge for headers more.

Don't get carried away. Who do you think Arteta can replace on the Spanish national side? Clearly most of you don't watch the La Liga. I suggest you watch it for a season, study the various Spaniards for yourself (not news from someone else) then come and tell us who exactly Arteta would replace. Don't get me wrong, he is a good player but Spain is very competitive with their youth sides constantly developing new talent.

Not an Everton or Sheffield United fan but saw them play each other at Bramall Lane last season, and Arteta was a class apart. He really stood head and shoulders above the other 21 players on the pitch. Quality player!

I think totenham's midfield is rather weak. If they were to challenge the top four they would have to improve it. Their strikers are excellent though.

im a forest fan, and went with a season ticket holder to see everton on saturday as he had a spare seat going. Arteta is so consistant, and is being overlooked not just by spain, but by the BBC. Arteta was a class apart on saturday, wigan were scared of him, and some the skill he pulled out was just plain silly. The man is a footballing genius, and a great by Moyes. He prob wouldnt break into the spainish midfield, but he should at least be the on the bench, and given a go in friendlies etc. He was one of the best players in the premiership last season and thats a fact. (look it up) but totally agree, Arteta should be playing champions league football. (no offence toffee fans)

good game though, you'll be in top 8 no worries.

And as for arteta, he is one of the most under rated players in the league. If he was playing for any of the top four, and performing to the same standard, people would be saying he is world class.

Completely agree. Andy Gray and the like would be dribbling all over him if he played for Liv, ManU, Arse or Che......it does my head in.
