hoopsaah (U9392360) posted Aug 15, 2007 I have to say that if mr eccles cake wants to throw his bursting wallet at loftus road then obviously it will be the biggest thing to happen to rangers in our less than impressive 125 year history. And if his mate at renault wants to help out as well then he is extremely welcome to do so. The only problem then will be persuading lewis hamilton to join renault next season!!!!

Seaside_Ranger (U9419146) posted Aug 24, 2007 Bernie obviously knows he won't get anywhere near Arsenal so has hopefully decided to plunge into the R's with Flavio. With massive financial input and success comes new fans and growing attendances (over a few years). We could easily get to 25,000 in 5 years! (Here's hoping!!!)

wildwillysax (U9486152) posted Aug 24, 2007 It's great to know that there are other Rangers fans out there glued to their Google pages in anticipation of the greatest news the club has had since...well when did something like this happen?. It could be that this latest flurry of press statements from all parties amounts to brinkmanship, perhaps squeezing a few percentage points one way or the other out of the deal. If it does go through won't we be kicking ourselves, or our inflatable Gianni replicas, that we gave in to pressure from Fulham and sold Lee Cook, knowing that this was in the horizon ?.
