It's all over, no more whinging, no feeling hard done, no complaining about 15 points.

Leeds United 2007 starts here. We can go into this season knowing exaclty what we need to do and not having to worry about sanctions, liquidation, player contracts and our very existance.

The team sounds positive, the fans should be positive as the team on paper looks a class act for league 1. Yes it will be hard in this league but we have good players now. Lets meet the first target and get clear of that relegation zone by December.

Leeds fans, sorry, but you've got what you deserve in Bates.

Too clever, and took a risk too far.

No matter what you may think, Bates has sold you down the river.
He's only in the game for No, 1.

You have many years of heartache in front of you, and don't rule out non league football.

Leeds have a chairman who is only in it for himself??!

WOW, we are SOOOO different to other clubs then. They are so lucky to have chairmen who are selfless in their quest to do the best for the club no matter what the personal cost is to themselves.

Get over yourself.

Now can you name anybody who actually voted yesterday??

And those you mentioned aren't doing it for the good of the club, they are on an ego trip.

I think we are all forgetting a very important point here. How is Mr Bates going to pay the ongoing expenses,he wont invest any of his own money nobody will invest with him.He cant sell the club until next year I predict admin again with another 10 point deduction.the only hope lufc has, is to get rid of the leach KB.

Lowfielder, re comment about HO_CHI_MINSTER. HO_CHI_MINSTER is obviously a york fan don't just read one posting and assume, read some of his other postings.
It would be nice if people were not allowed to post comments if they had not filled in their members page but then no-one would bother to post comments because they would be to afraid of what others may say.
I don't like Leeds, never have done and never will but I feel their punishment is unjust but they have broken the rules and thorouhgly deserved to be punished. When they accept the punishment, then and only then can they begin to move on.
Has any team managed to survive in their respective division after a points deduction? I don't think that they have. That has to be Leeds first target. Forget promotion talk. Just do enough to survive this season and then you can aim higher next season.

Powersimonram, In what way exactly did Leeds "cheat" their way to trophies in te 70s. Give me evidence and hard facts and not this trite inuendo borne from jealousy. The simple fact is that under Revie Leeds were the first truly professional team and did what all top teams now do and take for granted. If you biother with facts I think you will find that in fact Leeds were cheated outn of at least 2 trophies - the bent referee in the 1973 Cupwinners cup final who was banned by UEFA, and the disgraceful refereeing in the 75 European Cup final.

If you must peddle anti-Leeds nonsense on our message boards at least have the decency to support it with some hard eveidence.
