Sorry, but as a manager, Robson is a loser.
He will not take Sheff U back up, in fact, he'll be lucky to last the season out.

You have no chance of promotion while Btyan Robson is in charge - period.

Every team needs good forrads, without a player who knows how to kick a ball in the right direction a team is lost. They can dominate midfield all day, and there are plenty of teams that do that, but the teams which pick up the trophies are the ones with the goal scorers.

so what if we have 8 senior strikers...beattie is a quality player and you dont say no to quality...i dont think hulse's position at teh club is in doubt i just think that Robson is trying to strengthen as much as he can before the new season

i do agree that we need another centre mid player and a winger though

Beattie will want to prove himself.I dont beleive a player can just lose it after a bad spell.Its a gamble, but lets not forget, a couple of seasons ago some one like Beattie probably would not have come to the lane.We must be doing something reyt.

well morley the great lets just wait till the end of the season and we will see what happens. How do you know? What makes you so sure about robson give him a chance first before you dismiss him!

i agree with you on comment b stevosblade we do need an alround midfielder to add to the arrival of hendrie. but i also think beattie will do a great job.

I think that you will all be sadly mistaken come May 2008, you will not get promotion. Having Robson will spark some enthusiasm but as poor results come in he will be called to the chopping block I am sure. Then you are back in deep trouble with high player wage demands of which you cannot easily get rid. You have to get back first time round or be prepared for years of doom. D
