Liverpool fan here, cracking buy from Blackburn. He might not have scored that many goals so far in Germany but he is built for the Prem, 10-20 goals next year guaranteed.

went on another clubs bord to see what your thoughts were about the signing of santa cruz, Was dissappointed to see comment by orkney todd regarding man city throwing money around, yes we have money to spend but our outgoings so far have been 16 million minus the sale of joey barton to newcastle for 5.8 million = atotal sum spent of 10. 2 million for 4 players, considering we had a small squad to start with then releasing 9 players during the close season admittedly 6 were regular 1st team players obviosly we have to buy but our average outlay per player has been 2.5 million hardly throwing money about ,and just for the record i think santa cruz will be a good signing for you and all the best for the new season except when you play us of course.

A cracking buy at £3.5m, he will get you 10-15 goals next year guaranteed. So he wasn't the best in Germany but our Premiership brings the best out of 99% of the imports so good luck to Blackburn, looking forward to watching him

3.5 mil for him is surly a big bargain! think he will do ok and hould accompany beni well up top. cant see him getting any more than 10 goals to be honest though. would love it if blackburn thrash a few of the teams around them 9table wise) that hav been spening tons of money. MH building a very good squad and should defo be pushing for europe this season

another attacking midfielder and you guys would officially jumped ahead of villa,everton and pompey as the favorites to win the 6th spot this season.
a strong stable side,good defensively and most importantly not too many changes. far too many teams have signed too may players,meaning that they will not settle quickly.blackburn a team to watch especially if they can be consistent away from home against the relegation fodder sides.
santa cruz a great coup.

Chelsea fan, but I must say this is a class signing for Rovers, great value too..

..Along with Benni McCarthy, I can see You guys causing a lot of teams a lot of trouble next season.
somebody has said this could be the ingredient you need for top 6, I would go further and say that Rovers, Spurs and Goons are going to be fighting for 4th,5th and 6th with either of the three of them being capable of finishing top 4

Always wanted to see him in the EPL. Hughes obviously knows his stuff about the english attacking game so Santa has a quality coach to help him get used to it all. I reckon the three strikers of Roberts,Benni and Santa can cause a lot of problems for all the teams in the premiership. The fee as well,what a steal!

Great signing again from Sparky, looking forward to seeing what pairing he has up front this season. With most of the squad settled already and no big players leaving the club, could be rovers best chance to get in the top 5 or possibly higher. With Derbyshire and McCarthys eye for goal and Roberts strength with Rigters enthusiasm. All we needed was that aerial threat and i think we've got it now in Santa Cruz. I think we still need another midfielder with an eye for goal to take the strain off the strikers then i think we've cracked it. But maybe Reidy will provide that when he's fully fit. Exciting times at Rovers.
