which guy? from the bbc? the guy from premiership news? they guy whos admitted to being wrong in the first place? (and i have great respect for him admitting it on a message board)?

stop trying to argue with me about wikipedia you moron thats a side issue, all i said was javier is on a loan deal until the end of next season, he is costing liverpool 1.5 million a year excluding wages, and you will have to pay some sort of transfer fee at the end of the loan.

he asked for proof and i shown him.

Yea i think it is their strongest squad but im sure it will be the same old story, they wont turn till Christmas...Another trophyless season a Anfield!!! What a shame...

Looking at that last post there are a number of players in that team who haven't got the qaulity to win the Premiership...Agger, Finnan, Aurelio and Kuyt...good luck though

Well, it's a better squad than when we won in Istanbul. But we're still a cup team (Livepool always will be) but I don't think we'll win the league this season. Maybe narrow the margin of defeat. Agree with someone else's comments that we still have players just not good enough for a league title.
For me - there's two in particular - Sissoko & Reina. Sissoko is almost without doubt the worst player I've seen in a 'pool top - utterly useless 1st touch but as his legs are as tall as John Terry he seems like he's tenacious but in-fact just making up for his countless mistakes.
Reina - a good 'keeper yes, but not good enough. We need a Schmeichel, Seaman, Grobbelar. For me we should be trying to get a Buffon, Kahn figure. Would love to get Gordon from Hearts - he is good enough.
Anyway, not here to simply put down players lol. If we can get out the traps running for once, then who knows, stranger things have happened. Torres could be this season's Berbatov & if that happens, we might just do it.
