A true Saddlers legend too. Remember him running our midfield in the early 80's. Great player. Goodbye Mini RIP

So sad to hear of the sudden loss of 'Mini' Preece. He was a dynamic bundle of energy in Walsall's midfield and always gave 100% for the team. Condolences to family and friends.

I remember David at Cambridge and Derby. Truly a legend and truly went before his time.

On behalf of myself and every Watford fan, my deepest condolences go out to David's family and friends and every club he represented, in particular Luton Town.

At times like this, rivalries should be put aside and the football family unite because tragedies such as this really do prove that football is just a game when all is said done.
