I think it looks great and as an alternative to goodison i think itl be fine. i dont know why people are so worried about Tesco's involvement. it's not the first time they've done this. Warrington Wolves "Halliwell Jones Stadium" (yeah not the tesco arena) was built in conjuction with tesco who also have a superstore on the sight and its so much better than Wilderspool previously. we need to move.

"Anyone who is not behind the board ingoing ahead with the new stadium is NOT a REAL EVERTON FAN,the board know whats best for everton and i back them to make the right decision"..

Get a grip. But then maybe you would care to explain, why we seem to have no transfer money this summer?

Who were the Fortress Sports Fund?

Why are we not moving about this time now to the King's Dock?

Where is the investment they are searching for 24/7? Or is a Tesco stadium and visit from Rocky the best they can do?

I am not the harshest critic of the board, but to suggest they whiter than white and should never be called to account for their actions is absurd. This whole stadium issue has been handled like a farce and with total disrespect shown to the fans.

I also think, of the 30-40,000 Everton fans entitled a vote, there will be a real split in support for this move.

But how dare you say that those who stand against this, and quite rightly, are not REAL Evertonians..

That comment makes me sick, but then it came from a sycophant to the board so what is the surprise.

The fact that so many Everton fans are against this surprises me. Being honest, we're already far enough behind the 'big four', and in my eyes its only gonna get worse the longer we stay at Goodison. Don't get me wrong I love the old place, but we're gonna get left behind if we stay there.

I've only been to Goodison once, this season when you hammered us 3-0 and I thought that the stadium was basically just a bigger Fratton Park, the new one looks fairly impressive. Have you got planning permission yet or are these first designs?

I personally think we should move to Kirkby: we can't stay at Goodison, the move does sound financially lucrative (although I accept we don't know how much of that is spin) and it's not as if BK or the Liverpool city council are offering us too many other options.
What really winds me up is the in-fighting we've got between the pro and con sides. Phrases like "not real everton fans" are ridiculous- by all means voice your opinions but just accept some will want to move and some will want to stay!

Stadium looks pretty nice , obviously very early stages.
To be honest Iam an absolutley huge fan of Goodison but like everything else there is a time for change. If there is no possibility of enlarging the stadium or even re-building then what are our alternatives? I like the fact our club is showing ambition and pride in the look and impression Everton has. Iam all for the move, I dont buy all the bull about tickets sales dropping if we stay at Goodison, but think it is time for a change.

I'm gettin pretty fed up wit the Board's barrage of propoganda. I'd have a lot more respect for the money merchants if they'd only argue on the level - without the slippery trickery.

Leighton Orient

Who are they?

They have the 2nd best fans in football. They are surrounded by glamour clubs like Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham etc. but they support Leighton Orient because they were taken there by their fathers and their fathers fathers. That is how real football fans are made.

It is all too easy to support from the arm chair. I am sick of seeing Chelsea shirts. The future of our club lies in our hands Kirkby or not. We must continue to bring our children and sing our songs and be proud of our club. That is where the danger lies in children growing up in red shirts.

Remember we support the players on the pitch where ever it may be, we support the blue shirt, WE ARE EVERTON.

I think the stadium looks really good and can only be a huge possitive for Everton FC. Most of you everton fans are upset by moving away from the city of Liverpool and is understandble considering the history behind the club but they have to get behind the club on this decision. I'm sure if there was a place to put a stadium in the city for Everton they would do, but the truth is there just isn't. Liverpool are building there new super stadium and there was an option for ground share but we all know that isn't gonna happen. So a new stadium in Kikby is there only option to take the club forward.

I also don't understand the worry of the Tesco's thing???? As someone has already mentioned. Warrington Wolves have the Haliwell Jones stadium and it really is a nice little stadium. The Tesco's is just next to the stadium thats all. I'm sure they have a similar idea but on a larger scale for Everton. This would really help Everton financally, and get Everton competing more with there rivals Liverpool.
