Sheva still a key man?

Premiership Chelsea
comment on the article

Mourinho's insisted that he has no favourites at Stamford Bridge. Anyone who plays well will be in contention for the first team - and that includes Shevchenko.

Does that put to bed all the rumours that he might leave? If so, will he do better next season?

"So why change a winning formula to accommodate Shevchenko and Ballack?"

It was down to injuries, they didn't really ahve a choice with Cole, Robben and SWP injured at times. Ballack was there to add the competition for places, to draw the weakest out of the bunch between Essien, Mikel, Maka and Lampard. Shevchenko was a big load of balls up by Chelsea themselves and I don't think Mourinho wanted him. But he'd hardly say no, The option of Drogba or Shevchenko as your CF's? It's a dream.

I wish him luck but i think 20 goals in the premiership is past him, though he can have 20 goals in all competitions and this is his season to defy the odds since Drog wud be off for the Nations Cup. He should make the most of it while he can, cos when drog gets back it'll be Drog and Pizzaro, if he hasn't been able to adequately supply the goals for Chelsea.

Milan have got a cheek. A year ago, Sheva was worth £30 Million and not a penny less, while this year they won't pay anywhere near that to buy him back, even though he has hardly played since. Some of the Italian clubs take Chelsea for mugs. They already have Crespo on perpetual loan, but won't actually buy him.

It is interesting that you rate him so highly but he isn't even on the bench in the team you made.

I was to busy Admiring him as Sheva is my Idol so i forgot to put him on the team i made.

But I did copy and paste the same post and edited it by putting Shevchenko on the team, look again doh

Just a quick reminder; the world isn't full of perfect people, human beings make mistakes.

sheva is the bigggest flop in british football, jose when is sign sheva he throught that is was going to break the goal scoring record, but no he has just shot him self in the foot, chelsea should sign Roy Essandoh he got more of a chance of scoring then sheva this season
