Now that they have Beckham, Major League Soccer can do themselves a huge favour by signing Jay Jay Okocha. He has more fans among Latinos in the US.

I just a saw a commercial on ESPN advertising "the coming of Beckham" this Saturday - as opposed to the Chelsea vs. Galaxy match this Saturday. What crap!

Personally - I like Becks but he has the tendency to play up or down to the level of the players around him.

As for the publicity - this is classic Becks - the soccer God (not my words) has arrived in America - millions of Americans tune in to watch him and either he doesn't play or he plays and he's a flop. Now he has to fight to regain their respect and admiration. How many times has this story unfolded in the last year alone?

His ankle has been sore since the beginning of June. The match is in 4 days and he has never practiced with the team. His team mates haven't had time to rift him yet for the salary he is getting when many of them are making less than $20 thousand per year.

I smell disaster in the near future. Maybe Posh can ease the tension by wearing one of her push up bras.

Caught the Victoria Beckham show on tv last night (yes, there was nothing else on). What a spoilt little tyrant she is - rude and arrogant. The show got bad ratings and terrible reviews. Is this how she behaved in the UK?

Who cares? Sky sports news has been full of this all day. Why? Beckham has chosen to go to a country that doesn't give a stuff about football.
