Braunstock (U8966614) posted Jul 11, 2007 Well, it's indeed true that your European teams are at a different level. Indeed, our conference, CONCACAF, where Mexico plays, is one of the weakest. The pompous, but athletic gringos (USA)consistently beat us now, but neither Bushland nor Mexico can really claim to have world-class football. Still, I'm proud and happy that in the Copa America we've come this far, and do hope we do well against Messi and crew (the Argentines). It would be an honour to face Brasil again, and lose to them (diminished as they may be). Or heck, even beat 'em. Again. Argentina in world championships always falls short. Only their ego remains undiminished. So, hope for Mexico, and luck!

They aren't playing flowing football, so I would expect the winner of the Argentina vs Mexico semi to go on to win. That said, Brazil vs Argentina has a habit of not obeying the usual rules...
