Bellamy completes move to West Ham!

Premiership West Ham and Liverpool

Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez has confirmed that Craig Bellamy has completed a move to West Ham.

The Hammers have paid £7.5m for the Wales international on a four-year deal on a reported £75,000 a week. Now after just one year it seems Bellamy was not going to be a first team player and has decided to join West Ham.

What are your thoughts on Craig Bellamy West Ham fans? Good signing or not?

Liverpool fans - glad to see him go?

Not really toadie. I've seen WHU win the FA Cup three times since 1960, oh & the Cup Winners Cup & had plenty of good times, some abroad, but yes, it could have been better.

However, I'm so glad you're happy with Bolton's achievement level since 1960. Is it one final? Could be more?

It still doesn't alter the fact that your travelling support as a percentage of your home crowds is an embarrassment.

Anyway, if Mr Lee looks as lost again as he did on the touchline end of last season, you might find that he who laughs last laughs longest.

I can not believe that Bellamy is worth 7.5 million. Even though he didnt play one good game last season. All he does is run after the referee for 90 minutes cos he got touched by an opponent.

No, I base my opinion on the interviews he has given to the BBC, Sky and any one else, from every team he has played for from Norwich to WHU. Never once has he come accross as anything other than an egotistical pratt.

thats just shocking lad craig bellamy; when hes interviewed, talks about football not himself so how your getting this impression i dont know. you havent got the right to be forming such negative opinions on people you dont know and ill stake my life that if he baggs 15 goals this season you'll change your tone

it may just be me, but i think west ham are in trouble. they seem to lodge a bid for every avalible player in the league. it seems as if any player has considered his future west ham have been after him. leeds all over again?

Well .......thanks for the ancient history lesson grandad badgers ... nice for the history books ...but hardly relevant to football in the 21st century, is it? doh But - for a so-called ' Big Team ' you have to admit you've seriously under-achieved in the last 20 years .......
We, on the other hand, don't profess to be a big club ... but what counts is the present ...and ..... in THIS century .. you're not even close to reaching our standards of achievement and consistent top 8 finishes ..... so rather than having a pop at Bolton ...maybe you should be asking why a big club like yours can't match a smaller club like ours, who punch well above their weight each year with hardly any transfer money to spend each year either .......

I realise you're obsessed with supporter numbers ...then again, that's the only thing you've got going for you at the moment so that's hardly surprising. Maybe you have a bigger travelling support than a lot of teams ..... so what? It doesn't get you 3 points on the pitch, which is all that matters .... and it only puts money into the coffers of your rivals ........... so thanks smiley

To be honest, if he gets a regular run he'll do well. Coming to us, although a dream move for him, was probably a bad one. He's a confident yet slightly naive lad who maybe thought he could come to Anfield and become an instant hero. I don't think he gave a great deal of consideration to Rafa's rotation policy or the often unreasonable demands placed on new signings by the majority of my fellow reds.

I rate him as a player, regardless of his personality, I reckon Curbs and The Irons will sort the lad out, encourage him the right way and I have a feeling he'll have a great season.

If he can manage to stay onside....ever.

bellamy has the pace to cause any team trouble.its his hot headed temper is what causes most trouble unfortunatley.he could become a world class player if he left his old ways behind but far too much distraction means hes only worth a mear 7.5 million steam

bellamy is a good player but i am still glad to see him go.for one the amount of strikers liverpool have got at the moment is crazy and they have just bought 2 more(babel and benayoun).secondly the amount of contreversy he made after his ''arguement'' with riise is ridiculous

what a great bit of work from Rafa good to see the back of bellamy and west ham are mad to be paying these new signings all that money now that curbs has a bit of money he seems to paying well over the odds for them

I'm very happy he is gone. He had 1 good game last season against Wigan when he bagged 2 goals but he doesn't consistently play. Referring to another post "they have just bought 2 more(babel and benayoun)" This is a lot of rubbish. Benayoun is a winger and Babel can play as a striker but we will play him a a winger!
