Malouda to Chelsea - what's going on??

Chelsea
comment on the article

Having watched Malouda play for France in the World Cup, I couldn't understand how he was getting his place. He constantly over ran and/or gave possession away - so why are Chelsea interested in him - have I got it completely wrong???

Malouda is average, Ribbery is well better even though Gary Neville is better lookin', the League is going to Man U so what does it matter.

My prediction is that at the end of this season Malouda will look like a £6 million singing and will be flogged to a mid-table club and that Real Madrid will probably be offering £30 million for Babel.

Fantastic news for Chelsea. Malouda is a brilliant player who has won the French player of the year award is also a star player in the French starting XI.

Flo has lots of experience, which will come useful to us next season.

Lots of players who have come from Ligue 1 have adapted well some players have even become big named players i.e. Essien, Drogba, Cisse etc.

Malouda is a great signing, he's got flair, a great work rate off the ball, lots of composure, strong: -athletic build, is a Team player, 27 years of age at his peak also Florent has 4 more years of top football in him.

I think that Malouda is a replacement for Robben, which means that Robben could be on his way out to Real Madrid. I think Mourinho finds Robben frustrating, which is understandable as Robben is sometimes, selfish-greedy, prone to injury and still young but a brilliant player.

I think Robben is an awesome player who we need to keep as in time he will be one of the best wingers in the world.

I also think that you can play both Malouda and Robben on the wings in a 4-3-3 formation as they have different style of play Robben likes to cut inside on the wide right, Malouda likes to play on the wide left. Then you can bring on J.Cole who has always been a Substitute for Chelsea. This means that all players will be happy.

Jose has made clever signings this summer to strengthen up our squad; I think these players are just cover players due to the injury crisis last season and he knows that our Starting XI is capable of wining the PL and CL which we also know. Then we have key players who are going to the African cup of nations i.e. Drogba, Essien, Mikel and Kalou. That is Mourinho’s thinking.

Summer Signings:

Sidwell,
Ben Haim,
Pizarro,
Malouda,
Alex?

Chelsea’s Starting XI this 07/08 season:

Formation: 4-3-3

CECH = GK

ALEX = RB ?
CARVALHO = CB
TERRY(C) = CB
A.COLE = LB

BALLACK = CAM
ESSIEN = CM
LAMPARD = CAM

MALOUDA = RWM
DROGBA /(SHEVA?)= ST
J.COLE = LWM

SUBS: Cudicini, Ben Haim, Bridge, Sidwell, Mikel, Sheva/(Drogba?), Kalou.

I agree with your team but i think sidwell should play instead on Ballack. even though ballack is world calss i think sidwell will prove to be world class in a couple of years.

Cant really understand why Chelsea have purchased Malouda. Its nothing to do with his quality.. I just feel Chelsea have 3 world class wingers at there disposal.

Robben and Cole are brilliant players, they are perfect for the way Chelsea play feeding into Drogba from the wings. SWP is great for cover, I personally think he should play every game but he seems happy with the bemnch life.. so where will Maloada fit in?

If they go and sell Robben for about the same price I think they will come worse off from the deal because Robben really is my favourite winger right now.

I wish Liverpool had these type of players at the wings at there disposal.. Do Chelsea fans want to see Robben go and Malouda come in???? I woudlnt!

Malouda's one of those players you have to watch more than once to appreciate him.

I can't even put my finger on it, but for me he went from being garbage to middling to very good over the course of a few viewings.

I hope he bombs - I'm a United fan - but doubt he will.

Quality signing.

He's not fit to lace Robben's boots though. Mourinho's ego and attitude has got the better of him and he's fallen out with Robben. Robben will go to Real Madrid and show Chelsea how good he could have been for them.

malouda is absolute rubbish. if it means robben is leaving then it is a pointless signing cos robben is the far more accomplished player.

I think alot of players perform better as they grow and Malouda will definately be big challenge to other defenders just like Rondadinho he didnt play like they way he plays at Baca so please watch out new season i think every player is different in his own look at ronnie he was jst worse at world cup and then from nowere he is a realiable player at man u
