rallyestyle (U1738879) posted Jul 13, 2007 This result was inevitable really, I find myself laughing at the state the premier league is in right now though lol! They league must learn from this and the rule book must be changed so that there are clear cut punishments for various wrongdoings rather than just using the ‘appropriate’ word throughout. We all know the punishment to West Ham was ‘appropriate’ to the Premier League chief as the club are a far bigger financial asset to the league than SUFC, sadly it was never appropriate to the rest of the footballing world! The way things are going with Tevez at the moment however I have a feeling West Ham have shot themselves in the foot… anyone for a points deduction at the start of next season??

gooner900 (U8313159) posted Jul 13, 2007 It was certain individuals who struck the deal and the Premier League should have gone after them not the club, especially as they've now left. SUFC had as has been said the easiest run in,West Ham didn't so SU deserved to go down although i'd have prefered the VERY quiet Wigan instead.

acraven123 (U8369606) posted Jul 13, 2007 How many more times do we have to correct lunatics? Middlesborough were relegated because they got less points than anyone else. 3 points were lost when THEY DIDN'T TURN UP TO A GAME!!!!! FFS what do you idiots that support Shefflid Utd want, any team can decide which games they play and somehow the magic fairies will come along and give a win to the 'fairest' team?

acraven123 (U8369606) posted Jul 13, 2007 It's not down to the opinions of WH supporters as to who goes down and stays up, it's down to 38 games with points to be won and lost. U had a manager that bottled a 10 point clear lead over the dangerzone and lost/drew to get less points that others.

dgrujic (U8941214) posted Jul 23, 2007 I`m wondering if FA can sue Sheffild United,as they signed contract with FA that they will obey by any decision FA makes.Clearly Sheffild United breach contract by taking FA to court,so I`am wondering are there points deduction for that.
