BREAKING NEWS - GEREMI SIGNS!

Premiership Newcastle United
comment on the article

Cameroon international utility man Geremi has joined Newcastle from Chelsea on a free transfer, subject to receiving a work permit.

The 28-year-old has agreed personal terms and passed his medical.

Geremi, who can play at right-back or anywhere in midfield, was wanted by a number of Premier League sides.

Newcastle boss Sam Allardyce has already signed midfielder Joey Barton, striker Mark Viduka and defender David Rozehnal this summer.

Excellent signing, well done Big Sam!!

Do you think buying players not good enough to get into a top4 team, will make newcastle a top4 side
===============================================

do you think everton had a team of top 4 players? its not about getting all the best players, its getting the best out of them! Big Sam will do that, i mentioned this a minute ago, look at Chimbonda for Wigan, he was quality, look at him for Tottenham, he is playing 65/70% of what he did for Wigan

When did Chelsea become a feeder team for Newcastle? GET YOUR PLAYERS SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! Just because Chelsea are "the 2nd best team in the Premiership" doesn't mean their players are all that, hell, the fact they let them go and bring in younger, better, and more productive players is a sign of how expendable some of their players are.

PLUS!

Notice how it's all the players Ranieri bought that are through the exit door? Slowly but surely, those players are leaving, and that's what worries me. If Chelsea won the league back-to-back with more Ranieri players than the soon to be Mourinho players, what's Chelsea going to be like say this time next year? Shockin'

Renieri signed gallas lampard petit and zenden amosnst others. Also he didn’t have Abramovich's money for most of his time there. Shevchenko was money well spent. If you have the moeny buy everyone someone has to go – doesn’t mean they will perform for you. Bet he wish he still had gudjohnson.

Graham Poll's, you're an idiot.

Ranieri signed some good players and some bad players. Like most managers.

I suppose Drogba, Essien and Carvalho, by far our 3 best players last season are not as good as Ranieri's signings.

Every manager has to inherit a team but things move on.

We are a much much better team now than we were under Ranieri.

Dear oh dear.

Adios Geremi, you have been a great player at chelsea, always wonderful when you were playing or game on as a sub.

Hope you enjoy your time at Newcastle, thnx 4 everything.

Newcastle fans: Geremi is a great player he has lots of strength, is an attacking player great at going forward likes to cross the ball into the box when on attack also he can play anywhere in defence on the right hand side as he is right footed.

Mourinho converted Geremi from a right midfielder to a RB because we lacked players in that position and their wasn't a starting position for Geremi in that position.

As a newcastle united fan i think that the signing of geremi was a good 1!!!
He didnt get as much of a chance as he could have at chelsea and i think he should hav...

Go big sam for bringing in Four players who will actually want 2 play for newcastle
But 1 thing i ask of sam is to give people like ablert luque a chance toget some football this season...let him go away on loan or something
