Scuderia Ferrari dominated the French GP, with a stunning 1-2 finish at Magny-Cours.
Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe Massa romped home, to take maximum points and maintain their title challenge.
The F2007's new Aero update, seems to have given the red cars, the boost they needed to catch and even outpace the MP4-22's...
McLaren Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton, had to settle for 3rd place as he could not compete with the supreme pace of the resurgent Ferrari's.
There will be questions, however, as to the wisdom of a [revised] 3-stop strategy for WDC leader Hamilton, as this may have cost him any chance of finishing the race in second place.
Robert Kubica drove superbly, to finish an excellent 4th and his teamate, NH secured 5th, after another solid performance from BMW Sauber.
Renault's GF, salvaged a respectable 6th, for the French team at their home GP.
Alonso tried several times to make up ground from 10th, and succeeded, only to be retaken by NH and in the end, the reigning WDC, could only manage 7th.
JB rounded out the points finisher's, with a season personal best, in the Honda..
Things at setting up nicely for a 'Clash of the Titans' later this week, at Silverstone.

Thats why it took Hamilton just 1 corner to get past a BMW (Kubica)

Wheras how long did it take Alonso to pass Heidfeld ..?

Fantastic drive by the double world champion ...my hat ..!

"Well its about time Ferrari have the biggest budget in F1 "
That's not true, actually. Ferrari's budget comes after others this season, including McLaren.

F1-teams 2007 budgets, in Millions (Euros)
McLaren 379,31
Honda 323,77
Ferrari 308,65
Toyota 302,08
BMW 298,77
Renault 240,54
Red Bull 218,23
Williams 148,35
Super Aguri 70,385
Toro Rosso 69,462
Spyker 55,346

Hamilton knew he did not have to overtake Rosberg as he was pitting next lap. When he knew it was important to overtake Kubica for third he did with amazing skill. Cool and brave. Stuff of champions.
