We can recover

Arsenal
comment on the article

Obviously, like every Arsenal fan, I'm bitterly disappointed by Henry's depature. But i think (and i hope) that Wenger can recover. Last year, When Patrick left, AW unleashed an even better player, Cesc. So hopefully, AW can pull it out of the bag again. With Van Persie's progression last year, I wouldn't be suprised if he is given this role.

Another point I've been thinking about is the captiancy. Gilberto and Toure would be the clear candidates, with Gilberto probably taking it as he's vice captain now. Both players are Arsenal through and through and won't leave for anything imo. I would prefer Toure as captain, as he's more of a leader and motivator than Gilberto, who's quiet and gets on with his job. Although, Gilberto did a fantastic job this season as captain when Henry was out.

So, who's going to replace Henry as firstly, our 20+ goal a season striker and secondly, our captain?

It's really important that Arsenal really recovers otherwise they're gonna sink into an all time fepth and might not even get out of it unscathed. Henry didn't have to go and it's most important that the little problem apparently brewing in the team be quelled before it generates inro something uncontrollable.........

Best news all summer!

One naturally has a desperate sense of sympathy for our cherished neighbours from the Woolwich for their recent loss, and awful as it is to watch the slow decline of Arsenal FC, initiated by the sale of Vieira and no doubt to be completed by Wenger's departure next year. Nevertheless, it is impossible to ignore that this steady decline is inversely mirrored by the equally-steady ascent of the glorious Tottenham Hotspur. We cannot help feeling at The Lane that this is the first step to our clinching of fourth place and the beginning of a new period of domination in North London.

Don't be too smug, you don't have a good track record when it comes to selling us your best players.....bring Berbatov to Highbury!

Spurs also have an INCREDIBLE track record of claiming they're going to finish fourth and subsequently failing to do so.

They've been doing it ever since finishing fourth started meaning anything.

In fact, I'd go so far as to say that they are possibly the best club in the country when it comes to not finishing fourth.

Useless at not finishing fifth, mind you...

Another deluded one. Perhaps you should encourage your team to achieve success on own merit. You spend too much time dreaming of Arsenal's demise. Well...
dream on. You team will always remian behind in the queue.....saddo

As much as we admire their skills, most football players, have a communication problems. They talk generally with a forked tongue and deliver a lot of verbal tripe.Theyre not all bright in the brain department. They all seem to use the same words when they talk and usually it's boring repetitive rubbish.

well well...look what arsenal were gonna do this year: win the epl and reached quarter finals in champions league...amazing. sadly, they had some downfalls and now their season is over. i myself thought that arsenal would do bad but it's turned out totally different.
