BRING BACK REYESPremiership Arsenal by smilesmilewinkwink=SMELLTHEFEAR (U7464972) 18 June 2007 The answer to our problems, can play on the wing and through the middle. name me a player we could buy this summer within our budget better than Reyes, this lad has the lot, maybe Arsene can persuade him to give it another shot if not we should not let him go for less than 15 million. If Bents worth 17m, reyes must be worth at least the same if not more. Latest 10 commentsRead members' comments or add your own

Gooner_Davies6 (U8755188) posted Jun 21, 2007 Nah, Reyes is a cry baby. So give the baby his bottle and send him back to Spain!!!! Although he was friggin' awesome in the Carling Cup Baptista isn't that good for us, he is another one of those players who don't adapt to the english premiership.... so a reyes swapsey for Baptista isn't good. We need to sell Reyes for a tidy sum and buy some quality. Ryan Babel anyone???

captainChenny (U8773237) posted Jun 22, 2007 I have read all of your comments below and see most of your points. I never really moaned about Reyes previously except for his whinging. I personally think, if he gets his head right, he could do really well for us and be a big part of our future. That is a big 'if' though. If we do sell him, we must look for at least 10-12 million. I think we need a couple of experienced heads in the team. We missed that last season, and we missed a real captain. Not just somebody who will lead by example, but somebody who can come in, drive the team forward when we aren't playing well, and give people a kick up the backside when we need it. The amount of games last year where we were sloppy and gave the ball away so much, it wouldn't have happened if there was somebody there talking to the players and leading the side. We truly lack a captain since Vieira left. We also desperatley need wingers. If Hleb or Rosicky are injured there is nobody to play there. In our league winning years, we got about 20-30 goals from midfield, but i don't see that in Rosicky and Hleb. I don't think we are too far away from a great side. I just hope that these kids really start producing the level every gooner expects. Wenger reckons they will so I have faith in Wenger!!

GlasgowGooner (U1902377) posted Jun 22, 2007 If he comes back to London, it should be a condition of his employment that his bl**dy mother stays in Spain! posted Jun 23, 2007 I think it would be good for him to come back here, and would be a good set up between him and Cesc Fabregas, he has done well for Real Madrid but because his heart was in it, so if he does not want to return then its probably best he dont . He wants assurance of being picked for the first team, which of course he wasnt always included in at Arsenal
