According to a friend in the know. (Big Horse man in Ireland knows Alex) Alex will try one last time for Berbatov thinking that there might be an opportunity if Bent signs for Spurs. If this doesn't succeed he will turn his attentions to Fernando Torres, now that La Liga finishes today. He is still monitoring the Tevez situation, but feels that he will move to Inter in a big money move.
If the above three cannot be got he will sign either Huntelaar or Michael Owen.
The Italian and Gudjohnson will not happen.
This mans money is on Fernando Torres for about 18 million and he thinks Sir Alex is confident he will come.
You heard it hear first!!!!

SAF is the greatest manager of all time, even better than Sir Matt Busby. SAF has won more trophies and been more successful then any other manager ever in 20 years at one club. Don't get Gudjohnson because he isnt that good, does not score enough goals and is not an out and out striker.

I believe Saha should be given another chance too dynamic. When fit he scares the opposition and he can score some wonderful goals. I also believe that United get the best out of Rooney when he is playing with a fully fit Saha

well, i am a barca fan. I think a Gudjohnson move to united would not effect barca but if united want a striker i think they should go for Samuel Eto'o. Now is the perfect time as we have just signed Thierry Henry and i think that this is a perfect chance for united.

How good is Rossi? I didn't see any of his games in Italy. I personally think Tevez' style of play would fit in perfectly at Utd however I believe he is outrageously over priced.

torres will not be going to united if Alex thinks he will get him for 18 million he's got to rethink his tactics. i think its sad that utd will probably not get the 2nd best player in the world, after c. ronaldo, but its the truth. c'mon united win it again this season!!! smiley
