comment on the article

BBC are reporting that GP and co are putting QPR up for sale for £4 million plus debts, so who is gonna come and save us this time? an ex Liverpool and Spurs player with no links to the club so far, or is it time for Sir Les to come back to rescue us?

i think the important thing is that QPR is bought by a "football" person or consortium. Although QPR has got loads of potential, i doubt that for at least the time being its never going to be premiership club.

QPR is a club like Watford, which would benefit from "odd" spells in the premiership where they benefit from injections of cash then 2 years of parashutte payments to help grow and build the club.

As such it should never try and "buy" outside of it's means since it simply not sustainable. Clubs such as West Ham can afford this because they have a far wider fan base, larger stadium and on-going sponsorships to support it.

Good luck, hope QPR finds the right fit of buyer

we used to be the best club in london and its a real pity that we are in this situation now.but we still have what other london clubs still missing...real fans who sticks with their club for the bad and the worst.the loyalty and compassion that our fans shows towards the club speaks for itself.hopefully someone who is passionate about the game and not greed will take over and bring the club forward and to where we belong...the premiership.

QPR just need a true honest owner whos best intrests are in the club. Yes QPR do need the money and thats what football is about these days. But QPR have had so much trouble in its recent existance due to the fact that there has been so much backroom activity which has uneased the club.
We need an owner who will sit there and look at the club and build it back onto the foundations that once made us great. No more big stories behind the scenes which will get QPR in the papers for the wrong reasons.
Fans, who have been the backbone, need to continue their exceptional support and get as many people sitting in Loftas Road as posible.

radj64 waxes lyrical about the fan base. 12000 a game in the championship? Not even top half in the averages!
I say become a Chelsea feeder club.

Let's face it no one will come and buy us until the ABC loan has been sorted out - the interest rate is a scandal - the mugs that signed us up to it should have been shot. Thanks to Mr P for buying in when he did. Love him or hate him the man has done a fair job.
