Alonso says that Mclaren favour Hamilton

"From the first moment, I wasn't comfortable with everything. It's an English team, with an English team-mate. You know all the help goes his way. I've understood that from the start and I'm not moaning about it. I'm relaxed, I'm good, though I know there is some impatience for the way I arrived and how I am expected to dominate. I'm where I want to be and I have clear options for winning the title, which is what we want."

That is what I like about Alonso. He always speaks his mind.

I still cannot see any racism in Alonso's words. I think some people should calm down and go for a walk, relax and stop drinking.

When two weeks ago Hamilton threw those bad intentioned comments about favouritism towards Alonso, you all jumped at once to join him. The Spanish press has been so much more serious and respectful about all this nonesense than English press. It's disgraceful . .

If Alonso is not happy with Racing on level terms, then he should go to a smaller team, where he can get all the preferential treatment he needs.

I don't think his comments are fair - if he's working in the same team as a rookie, shouldn't Alonso be trying to help him with hints and tips for his driving. He doesn't seem to be happy unless he's in the spotlight - right in the centre of attention or even at the top of the driver's championship.
They're on the same team, therefore they get the same treatment.

I agree, Fernando seems to be whinging purely due to having competition in his own camp. His comment(s) seem to be based on the fact he is reigning world champion and everybody should do whatever is in their power to help him achieve his goal of keeping the title, after all he is the one with the pedigree. “Absolute power corrupts absolutely”, I can’t think of another mainstream professional sport, were a person would be expected to ‘stand aside’. Professional sports are about competition, plain and simple and as a professional sportsman, I would have expected Fernando to relish the challenge, all be it from his own team mate. Surely a title won through determination and skill is what competition is all about, or am I being naive?

The big news on Spanish TV is that Alonso is moaning about Hamilton not letting him pass on the straight: dodging and unfair play and all that. The F1 expert who works alongside Alonso said that "Fernando" is really pissed off and WILL DEFINITELY NOT stay with MacLaren for next year.

Let's see.
