Every 'boro fan I know (and most are season ticket holders) say they will happily cash in Downing and 1 defender will get you nowhere.....

Middlesborough are a team i like so am disappointed to say they'll never be a top 6 team. Gaffer is inexperienced. The only good player with consistent form is Woodgate. Yak is on and off, Downing doesn't deliver enough for someone of his quality and the likes of Morrison and cattermole are too young at the moment. Koumas would be a great buy, and would play well with Boateng. Yak and Kamara upfront would be good, maybe another good striker incase of injury, Smith for a cut-price fee?? I believe 'Boro are promosing, but top 6 in next 5 seasons?? Not happening

Tuncay has just signed according to reports in Turkey with another 3 players set to sign we are only going one way thats upwards and towards europe.

Berbatov may be better then yak ok.
but ben haim areu having a laugh?
woodgate is 10 times the player he will ever be
king is very pacey but plays better dm then cb,
and sol campbell is past it thats why he's at portsmouth!

milner better then downing? watever downing produces so much more then milner.

if ure gonna come up with players please come up with ones that are somewhere near the calbre of Woody and Stewy on their day.

Sorry, bit late to comment i know - but just read a comment "Cookyperm" about not renewing his ticket......do any boro fans care if people like him renew or not? someone already said this, but we need fans who want to go to the games whether we have made big signings or not, we want fans who support the team and club - not just exciting players. its fans like this who we dont want at the ground - and fair enough the atmosphere at the riverside hasnt been great recently - but id rather it was like that than just full of fair-weather fans

i bet he was of those people that bought a season ticket halfway through the 96/97 season when it looked like we we could get to two cup finals (so they could use their tickets to go to the finals) and Juninho was playing well....then again, maybe he hasnt even been a fan that long
