I really think JM needs to start looking to buy more cover for Joe and arjen on the flanks.
due to injuries last year we were forced to play that stupid midfield diamond of Lamps, Ballack, Essien and Obi which, all though may still have proved mildly affective at times (very few), caused us to play dull unattractive football. 4-3-3 was the driving forse behind our two leagues triumps and when we play our best football.
Are we in for anybody?
......
Looks like Robben set to stay, so just a pacey winger, decent right back (please god) and a cover centre back needed i'd say.
Also can Glen Johnson finally come into the team next year?

Merseyblues,

Very true, I still don't think he'll leave.

£15 million is nothing, he's just a wee bairn with a great future ahead.

Hang onto him Mourinho, use cuffs whatever just don't let him leave!!!

Would be one of Chelsea's biggest mistakes if they sell him for 15mil.
He is quality but a bit too injury prone, so sell him for 20mil and with tht money get Dani Alves and get Quaresma as a replacement for Robben then we will have two Right wingers ( SWP and Quaresma) and two left wingers (Joe Cole and Malouda).
As for the Arsenal fan, dnt fret mate u'll do jst fine next season, though u might not finish above lfc u will still be in the top six.
One more thing everyone is on about the fact tht now henry is gone arsenal will be shit well why do ppl forget Van Persie - pure quality!!! and Adebayor and the new Silva guy.
In my opinion Van Persie is better than Torres even though Torres is boss

winkeye reckon chelsea should keep him. good player, much better than ronaldo. bit cheap to sell for 15mil. if sold, bit like the bargain barca got for henry

let him go (& im a blue!)
he's alwys injured and Malouda is much more robust, Roben's always going to be too "lightweight" for the prem!
SWP will come good next season (if we can keep spurs from taking him - ok if its a swap for lennon)

Keep Robben.

Robben/Cole/Kalou & SWP down the wings with Sinclair as further back-up. Chelsea will be unstoppable this season !!

Give it a rest guys Robben coming to us is sealed so stop arguing his dad has already said "who doesnt want to play for Real Madrid? my son wants to play for teams that can win the Champions League and Real are one of them" so its sealed and he has already rejected contract negotiations although i prefer Real to buy Drenthe and let Adrian Gonzalez a youth teamer they prometed this years to support him.

For those of you who dont know him he has already rejected liverpool and man utd and played in Real Madrid B in the second divison a tough divison for a young player and he shun bright in that league. he can also play attacking middfield naturally and is very creative and pacey. For all you english teams who talk of home grown talent tell me how man youth players have your teams promoted this seven compared to Real's 7 naming Granero, De La Red, Javier Balboa, Miguel Torres, Codina, Adrian Gonzalez and Soldado. name me your youth prducts that have been promoted.
