Heard a very string rumour in the pub the other day that Nick Scruton has signed a deal to join Hull for next season! Anybody else heard this? If so are leeds going to let let another promising young prop forward go to hull like dowes, carvell etc and be left with the useless baily and lauatitti (forgive the spelling) although baily at the minute actually looks interested in playing

Lets hope so. He will be a good prop when he gets older. Look at Dowes and Carvell. This might signal the end of Kingy, or Hull might get rid of Miava. He hasnt done much this season.

If your going to get rid of Kingy don't send him our way, it's hard enough keeping Cooke off the ale as it is without his influence. smiley

as much as i like scruton, I just dont think he's done enough to justify been at leeds. we have to give the other youngsters that are coming through the academy a chance. he's had too many years at leeds now and hasnt shown enough quality

Scruton did really well at Hull in 2003 when he came on loan.

I can only see him returning to Hull if one of our other props leaves and as far as I'm aware all five are under contract.

I went to leeds on a nite out a month ago and seen ryan bailey sprawled out over a bar, he couldnt even talk lol. He does seem to be making more of an impact now but i think his aggressive play may see him be the first to recieve a red if the refs still take them to matches these days winkeye

Hope this is wrong, Scruton was playing really well at the end of last season before he got injured. With Ali's dodgy knee, we need another prop.

Bailey's playing well this season and Thackray's awesome but I think there's room for Scruton to stay in the squad.

Scruton isnt really that good now is he a fit lautitii and a healthy Ryan Bailey ( i refer to the weight he has lost since his illness a few seasons ago) are both better then Scruton and with peacock, Thackray, Leuluai, Jones- Buchanan, Ellis, Kirke, Bailey, Lautitii all far ahead of him in the pecking order maybe its best for Scrutons career to get some games elsewhere rather then play academy games at leeds

At least Scruton gives 100% and does a job. I do question Lautitii this year. I'd rather keep Scruton and let one of the recemt overseas signing go ......... obviously not Webb. Thinking more of that sluggish , big prop forward we recemtly acquired from Oz.

How can you question Lautitii when clearly he hasnt been fit i mean for how good Tony Smith is picking injured players is a weakness for him can i refere you to the challenge cup final when he dropped Barrie for Senior as a great example. We all know a fit and well Lautitii is an excellant player
