JOE CALZAGHE TO MEET KESSLER IN DENMARK!

So Confirmed its Nov the 3rd

Great News That Joe will take on Kessler in December
I think that’s the fight that could be the last fight for Joe
At Middleweight, and fighting for the perceived more elite
Belts of WBA, WBC, and his WBO, will in my opinion secure
Him as the finest Super MW, ever.
It is the right decision better than say Taylor whom if he was going to brush
Off some critics would have slated him for fighting a smaller man (from MW)

I just hope, no injuries whatever (considering Joe ‘s record), then we can see a fight
That most purists have been hoping for, because there is till the debate of who is the real ‘Super Middleweight champion’.

Joe is more seasoned and has been there, I am not sure Kessler has fought someone of Joe’s calibre yet. Kessler though, could be fighting Joe at the right time (considering his age). Either way it will be a great fight.
After that (provided Joe wins, I would love him to face Winky Wright, Carl Froch or retire Hopkins. Winky was robbed against Taylor, Froch keeps calling Joe, and Hopkins needs to be retired

I slightly favour Joe, but it wouldn’t surprise me if Kessler won, considering its in Denmark

Anyone thinks otherwise?

Man this is going to be a easy pay day for PBF! Watch what I tell you hatton is to flat footed and fights 1 way! This is they type of fighter that will get eaten up by PBF!!!! Hate him or love him PBF is the best welter weight in the divison!!! And for anyone that thinks Hatton is a P4P fighter doesnt know boxing! He hasnt beating anyone and to me isnt the best fighter in his country! I think Witter would bet him!!!! the diference between pbf and alot of other fihjters is, the man lives in the gym... hatton chugs down beers and chills in the pub on his off time and blows up to like 180.. pbf stays in fighting shape and at fighting weight all year round.. hatton isn't fighting collazo, this is pbf!!! let's be real.. the guy is in for it, and i feel bad for his fans because this might be his last fight... There should be no excuses on weight at all. Mayweathers taller but with a smaller frame. Hatton could never make the super featherweight limit anytime during his career ... but Floyd was a champion at that weight. So there is no advantage or disadvantage with it being at 147. Floyd is a natural welter and neither is Hatton. Advantage Hatton? it matters a whole lot... hatton is the naturaly bigger man.. but you get a guy in the ring who walks around as a light heavy, and another guy who walks around as ww, and the two are fighting at ww.. the advantage goes to the guy who walks around at ww.. and i would give hatton a better chance if he could actually box, but he can't, he fights, he hold, and bullies.. he can't do that at 147.. my advice to all of you who like to bet on hatton is sit this one out, because your basically feeding the next mans kidsBody work on paper, is Hatton's bread and butter, but he also has a very effective lead right and upjab. See the Maussa fight for a good example. He'll have to apply constant pressure in order to smother Floyd and wear him down with body shot, and head to body combinations, but his explosive upjab (which snapped Maussa's head back) and lead right need to play a role as well. Floyd can adapt as we all know, so he needs to be hit with everything in Hatton's arsenal. I believe if Hatton uses the explosive upjab, it could very well be his key headshot, and not his more commonly used hook. It's an underused and underrated punch that has proven results.
But I think, its virtually a 10-4 advantage to floyd, he is smarter and the ring movements will be just about what wins it for him

Hatton-Mayweather's gonna be fun. As good as mayweather is, he doesn't pack the same punch as kostya and seeing how hatton took those, mayweather's gonna have to use his feet a lot more. Only difference is hatton isn't too slow to keep up if he cuts the ring off. Can't say hatton will win for sure, but he should be able to pressure mayweather nicely so that he has to stand and fight at some point, making the fight interesting. Cotto and mosley's a real toss up, but I favor cotto. Mosley's not too old yet, but he hasn't faced any top pound for pounders since winky wright. (As good as vargas is, he isn't pound for pound, not after the war with DLH and Trinidad)So I'm going with cotto on that one. Vargas will knock out mayorga and look stunning in the process. Jermain will do well against pavlik simply because he can really use his jab against pavlik since, pav isn't really known for his great defense. But still, Jermaine isn't known for his defense either, so it should be interesting. barrera and pacman..... really, what is barrera thinking? pacman will win by KO. Joe and Kessler, Kessler kos Joe here easily30

What is going on here? Of course Calzaghe is British and you love him, but you are talking about things you don't have a clue about. You simply don't know how good Kessler is - only that he isn't British. You don't know Kessler, period. But you will...

Kesslers a good fighter, he boxes well, his defence is good, he has good power. There are no obvious flaws. You don't look at kessler and say 'oh yeah he's good, but he does this wrong' he's a good all round fighter. That said I don't think I've ever looked at kessler and thought 'Wow look at that guys slick hands, devastating combos and unreal power'. I won't say he's an average fighter, because he's way way above that. we saw what he did to Andrade, a tough but limited guy. However Calzaghe just brings so much more to the table. More pace in his hands, comparable power, better movement, better combinations, to my mind better stamina, better work rate. The only advantage he has over Joe is age, and being as calzaghe has shown no sign of slowing down I don't think tahts much of an advantage.

Kessler is a good fighter, but he'll need to fight the fight of his to even make it a close contest I feel.

the fight is on setanata isnt it?

as for now knowing kessler weve all seen plenty of clips, some live fights and read reports on him RH so we do know all about him.

IMO he lacks the hand speed to match JC over 12 rounds and lacks the punch to ko him, allied to the fact the fight will be in cardiff with 50,000 plus fans behind JC and the judges will like any normal person be swayed towards JC in tight rounds (sorry thats the truth) and JC will win on points
