cosmicsafc4eva (U8454220) posted Jun 4, 2007 safc are in talks with iraqi midfielder akram and bolton goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskaleinen after he turned down a 2 year deal offered to him by Sammy Lee. Sunderland have scheduled a press conference at 10:45am on Wednesday and it looks likely that they are going to reveal that they will sign these players on July 1st. Finally Nicky Butt is also set to hold talks with Roy Keane in the next week as he beleives Sunderland will move forward if the big players come in. I'd just like to say i believe Sir Alex will let Scholes go to Sunderland as he is at the end of his career and man utd have signed 3 midfielders, also Scholes might want one big last challenge before he hands up his boots.
