the second milan goal was just beautiful.Kudos to inzaghi who still at this age and time reads the game with such mental alertness,his composure, impeccable. Liverpool showed great character and set an example to how Man United couldve played.They still set their standards high at the European stage,Rafa,hats off, i expect alot next season, he has turned tables at Anfield. Personally though, i wouldve loved to see a Chelsea Milan final.

The ref actually gave 2 minutes and 43 seconds. Whether pool would have equalized in 13 seconds is another issue. I thought that Liverpool was very fortunate to score by the way.

Well done Milan.

You won the CL and that's a great achievement. Thought the game was very close. You deserved your win. You had a bit of luck in Athens,we had it in Istanbul.

spirit of anfield,u had a lot of luck in istanbul,we had a bit of luck in athen,i m not proud of athen as u dominated first half n we got a very undeserved n lucky goal,2stop milan in first half u used all your energy with a very aggressive n effective tactic but not generated realy dangerous opprtunitys,second half u were tired,rafa goes mad n take mascherano out,the worst final ever played by milan,i like2watch good,exiting soccer,thats y i followed milan 4 the last20 years but athen was nothing2b proud,i almost prefer loose but play big time,i take respect2results,inzaghi is a useless lucky player,he scored1 good goal but miss2other exellent opportunity,gilardino is a monster but is unlucky,he will come good,mark my words,goodluck next year4premiership as well

You've made some good points. The game was a bit tactical and lacked scoring opportunities.

Your keeper wasn't troubled much even though we had a lot of possession.

This game showed the sheer class and category of Milan and Liverpool. Although your team is ageing and we still don't have a world-class attack, we got to the final sending the likes of Bayern,Man Utd,Chelsea and Barça home early.

Dear oh dear, am i reading things correctly, can i see people say milan deserved that win? they were just as poor as liverpool, they had just as many non attempts at goal and for inzaghi to say they rehearsed that 1st goal is the biggest load of crap i've ever heard, he had no idea that ball was about to hit him n dribble in! italian football the best aswell, i doubt that, i dont know anybody who likes watching Italy internationaly or at club level, yeah they won the world cup but they should of against a poor france side!, face it, italian football is boring, thats why nobody tried to buy any of the juventus players after thay had gone down either! just like every final i've seen milan in since 1994 (which was a great game) they've sent me to sleep, remember AC Milan vs Juventus? that was the worst and most boring final in the history of the champions league i think!
