What a fine young all-rounder. His fifty against India today came at the perfect time. Well done.

maybe he bats lower to concentrate on his bowling?

A true all-rounder? I disagree. He's had a few good cameos (i.e. against SA in World Cup) and has proven that he can hit the ball hard and far.

In the future, maybe, but not right now.

i have to disagree with you tv batting at no 5 is simply ridiculious how do u think hed play against the moving ball. i watched him play against england in england and he looked simply awful hes just a bit of a flash in the pan. good bowler though. wb

paulrowen,

I agree with you, but i'm talking form the point of view of the team..when you get their captain Bashar batting awfully, i don't think it's a bad idea to move him up in ODIs..yes, in test cricket, he still has a long way to go...What i liked about him is that he never gets over-awed by the occasion and plays his natural game..

Surely Mortaza needs to concentrate on his bowling for a couple of years, become Bangladesh's premier bowler, then think about his batting, from my point of view, you need better a seam bowler rather then better all-rounder.

Mortaza is doing well with the bat again. 70* but Bangladesh are heading for a massive innings defeat!
