Twenty four hours at WembleyNon League by MISTERFROGGIE (U8110822) 20 May 2007 Just a day after the prima donnas sent the world to sleep in the showpiece final, I have just returned from the conference play off final. Ok, a few hangers on to boost the attendance (myself included), but an interesting and sometimes exciting afternoon, full of passion. Latest 10 commentsRead members' comments or add your own

Oldstones (U8215661) posted May 20, 2007 Its what we Conference supporters have been saying all along. The Premier and Championship tend to look down their noses at the lower leagues, but in the Conference we are always ready to have a go, be it league, cup or play-offs. Moral - come and give the Conference a look. Its a lot cheaper, and you won't be disappointed.

markthetyke (U7566723) posted May 21, 2007 what we saw on sunday was real football. the two teams were made of football players, not footballers. the 40000+ fans made gave us more of an atmosphere than the near 90000 made on saturday, perhaps due to the lack of corporate interest in, what i believe, to be the biggest match in football today. you can forget your champions league finals, fa cup finals and play-off finals, the conference play-off final can change the lives of all involved, for the better, and, for the loser, worse. it changes the town from which the winning team hails.
