Jensen feels he could have aided Fulham's cause

Claus Jensen claims he was forced out of Fulham by Lawrie Sanchez's arrival and the new manager's tactics.

Jensen, 30, refused to sign a one-year contract extension in December, and its subsequent withdrawal leaves the Dane a free agent.

He said: "I didn't see a future for me at the club, the way Lawrie Sanchez wants to play doesn't appeal.

"The long-ball game has been pretty much what we've been doing and that isn't my kind of football."

Would you have liked to see Jensen stay? Where do you think he will go next?

I agree that he played a lot of excellent matches for both Charlton and his national side. So we know "he's got the stuff".

So the conclusion must be, that given trust and ragular time on the pitch, he will be a bonus for most clubs.

Regarding FC Copengan, LasseLarsen, I don't agree. He has to qualify for the starting 14 or so, when FC Copenhagen is playing in Europe and Denmark.
Right now we have better material in the cllub. But when he is fit, he will be able bring at least as much to the midfield as Atiba Hutchinson (Who is excellent at the time).

Forza FC ;o)

I'm sorry in a way to see Claus go, as he is one of Fulham's most creative players. However, I also agree that LS has to have a complete clear out of "dead wood" before the start of next season - and that will include other "sick notes" such as Elliott , Ehrlich (who aren't Premiership standard anyway ) and- regrettably- Pembridge(who is, but always injured ).He'll also have to get rid of bizarre signings who have hardly or never featured eg Runstrom and Zakuani, if they haven't already gone.I'll be interested to see who he does bring in.Whoever they may be ( David Healy is one name often bandied about )and even if Super Jimmy Bullard returns as the player he was, I still fear we'll be relegated under Sanchez- there's not enough dross in the Premiership any more to keep us up.

I am happy he has gone. He was awesome at Charlton but he has just been injured ever since he arrived. Since his latest batch of injuries however he has just looked heavy and totally out of his depth. I was excited when he arrived but he has just been a poor signing due to injuries and some poor performances mixed in with some good ones.

Most of the Fulhams have hit the nail on the head. claus, although undoubtedly good, was injured more often than not and at times I even forgot he was on the books.

I don't like a plyer who leaves and bad mouths the club, but I wish him all the best, although I hope that he stays true to form and is injured in his next fixture against us.

Good to see the return of Ploppy.

When we were first promoted to the Premiership we played lots of lovely passing football, and Claus would have fitted in to that style. However, as the seasons have passed we have gone over to the more direct and more physical approach which is a lot less attractive to watch and is also (for us) less successful. I fear that under LS we will play even less attractive and more physical football - the likes of Brown, one of the dirtiest players in the premiership, will make us a poor team to watch and an embarrassment to support.
We need creative players in midfield, at least one new goalscorer and a good commanding centre-half. Not a lot to ask !! ?

Everton should sign Jensen as it looks as though Carsley may be leaving and we need to maintain a baldy in midfield. We did have two baldy's in Carsley and Gravesen who were the best midfield baldy pairing of all time. I deally we would keep Carsley ans sign Jensen to rekindle this tradition.
