Blues fan here. Congrats, you lot deserve it. You were in the top two most of the season. Now take care of the Boingers at Wembley, and we'll meet you again next season in the prem.

@thedanio: So Saints have never been a "great club"? A "club" is just what you have in your head, mate. What you watch on Saturdays is your team. We're as "great" as you are, and "deserve" as much as you do, providing we earn it on the pitch. We didn't on this occasion, and good luck to your team in the final. You don't need snobbery.

first up, well-behaved fans yeah, civilised yeah, thugs no, quiet no....slightly classier than your average fan around the country, yes.

But we have the satisfaction that we actually won on the away goals rule, which for some inexplicable reason the fa has seen fit not to apply for the play offs, how tin pot is that?

@BWRAO. What I said was you're no greater than we are and good luck in the final, or is it difficult for you to read posts before you answer them? doh

Solet me get this straight...a few Derby fans suggest that, after the way we've played this season and the daylight between us and 4th place (let alone Southampton) that 3rd should go up...and they are labelled arrogant and crazy for suggetsing it because its not in the rules.

Yet Southampton fans come on and say that they sould go through on away goals, again not in the rules, and we're meant to say "hmmm, maybe you're right"

Get over it you lost in accordance with the rules that both teams played to.

Unless you had a different rule book of course.....perhaps Idiakez was reading Rugby for Dummies!!!!

Derby are whack... lucky wins all season! When it comes to crunch time derby just don't have the bottle. 3-0 to the baggies... come on! Then the foxes will be able to rip you apart next season.... Blue army, blue army, blue army!
