If I were Wasps.................

English club rugby Wasps

I would have Erinle on the pitch from the start. They need to combat the physicality of the Tigers and he is just the chap. I would also have Lewsey at center for the same reason.

Cipriani and wouldouk to be on the bench. Waters out of the squad.

My side would be:

Bracken
Ibanez
Vickery
Shaw
Palmer
Worsley
Rees
Dalaglio
Reddan
King
Sackey
Erinle
Lewsey
Voyce
Van Gisbergan

Bench:
Adams
Ward
Hart
Haskell
Amor
Cipriani
Wouldouk

I think that side would give the Tigers something to think about.
Experience, power, pace and potentially huge impact and creativity from the bench.

<<< Leicester are doing more to undermine the future of English rugby than any club in the country currently. >>>

Damn right.

Exposing all those English players to genuinely top flight rugby each week and getting them playing to their potential can only be damaging to England... after all, the success of clubs like Leicester only go to show how inept the England management have been in garnering only failure with largely the same players.

Yup - and I'll be delighted when they start winnig again.

And the way to do that would be to properly manage the large number of class players produced in the Guinness Premiership.

Something they've failed to do since roughly 2004.

I'm with Juggler & cosmic City Slickers on this one.
Here's hoping & praying for a Tigers well deserved treble...

Nasty nasty Tigers.

They have never supported English rugby.

They dont potentially supply half the English pack as well as the scrum half.

It amazes me, I spent years thinking how badly the tigers were hammered on England call ups loosing players whilst other clubs got away with it. Now someone says the Tigers arent English enough.

White
Chuter
Kay
Deacon
Corry
Moody
Ellis
Goode
Smith
Varndell

10 people to have been called up into the elite squads over the past 24 months.

Tigers are unstoppable. Wasps have been weak all year, they don't stand a chance.
Tigers for the treble!!!!!!!!!

No matter what you say about who is in tigers team, and where they are from, they are the Best English Rugby Team at present. And Pat Howard is all to congratulate on that. If we win sunday or not, (and i am going to cheer them on from my front row seat) i will still be pleased for my team at the end of the day, win or lose.they have made leicester proud!!!

Well, I'll go along with that. Pat Howard is Mr Leicester, and you have to wonder, regardless of family considerations, why he would leave after such a successful spell at England's top club. He is arguably the single biggest reason they are where they are - and only 33 as well. Surely he could write his own contract?

Why would Pat Howard leave.....

He wants his children to grow up in Australia with his family?

He has a long term promise to return to run the family business?

He wants to go home?

Take your pick from any of the three reasons above.

I cant fault the guy, he broke a promise to stay one more season at the tigers and what a season we have had.
