Our Club is a Big Joke

The funniest thing i heard today was that 'Big' Sam, is coming to newcastle so he can win silverware! Why drop our best striker this season? Who has kept us up?! Also, we buy that we do not need, Damien Duff anyone! Poor Charles N'Zogbia has had confidence smashed this season. We cant, apparently, afford players when Glenn Roeder was at the club, however, we can afford to pay someone 4million a year! Rant over, good night!

Playing for England is the only meangingful football Michael Owen is going to play until he leaves your overhyped club. You lot haven't won anything but one UEFA cup in the last 80 years yet you act as though you're one of the biggest clubs in Europe. It takes more than big crowds to make a big club- just ask Sunderland!

Too right mate.

If Owen goes and you lose money on him then it will only be a case of 'what goes around, comes around.' Does no one remember what the Geordies did to Leeds? Waiting until Woodgate and Milner reached bargain prices due to their financial position then swooping, only to make a 'quick buck' on Woodgate? Suffer......................

I've only seen one Newcastle game this season, on Boxing day agaist Bolton. Newcastle were rubbish then as they have been all season. But Bolton were also bad that day. The 'thump it up the park' style of play that Allardyce favours will do nothing for Newcastle. Big Stan? Big Scam, more like!

Here look theres not one person has had 1 decent thing to say about the toon and its like we are crap 24/7 which isnt the case, fair enough shepard needs to give the new manager some money and maybe think about packing his bags himsel but with everyone on the toons back and never sayin out positive about them then how can you expect them to do decent, and about whoever it was saying were not a big club thens thats a load of sh*te because we have some of the best players in the premiership, they just don't always play that way, we have one of the best staidiums in england and definitly the best fans in england!

We are a massive club I don't really care what you all say. The fact is since entering the Premier League in 1993, we've been in the title race plenty of times, nearly winning it with Keenan in charge, only to be pipped to the post by Man U. I remember watching when I was younger us in the Champions League which we used to be in nearly every season until recently. We sign top quality international players like Alan Shearer, Michael Owen, Jonathon Woodgate, Keiron Dyer, Shay Given yet all of these players have been injured for most of their Newcastle careers. The only reason we haven't won any silverware is because we are big, just not quite big enough to match the likes of Chelsea or Man U who have had world class managers at their helm. We've got one of the biggest stadiums, one of the largest international fanbases..just the worst sodden luck in the world..
even I have to agree, we've severely disappointed in everyway possible, beating the likes of Liverpool 2-1 and drawing with Man U, Chelsea and Arsenal but then playing less renowned clubs and under-performing, and it's about time we started to get our act together and win something which we have been long deprived of!
