Well done Wigan you dug in and scraped home with that spirit you could go all the way.
Afraid some of Leeds superstars bottled out again.
Rob Burrows did not deserve be on losing side nor did Webb but the others not doing it again,

cbbwarrior,
i like a guy who says it as it is,absolutely correct on every point, and mcquire will never have the class barrett has got.once he loses the bit of pace he's got he will end up running the water on(pace but no creative skills)to the players.;)

Im srry but TWICE a player was taken out after they kicked it, once danny was pushed over but when the kicker was shouldered to the floor by farrels bum buddy that should atleast be a yellow card, and was your 3rd try not a mile forward? barret passed the ball from behind the 10 meter line an calderwood caught it infront of the 10 meter line, now im not saying that you didnt derserve to win, leeds just didnt turn up at all yesterday, and yes barret is calss but as wigan have done year after year you spend big money on big players but you dont have a squad! if barret gets injuryed then we will see how good wigan really are!

great game shame about the result but the rhinos should have been much more clinical with their chances. disappointed to say the least to see some scrapping between fans in the wigan end after the final whistle. stuff like that doesn't belong in our sport hope those involved are suitably embarrassed !

As a lifelong Rhino's fan i would like to make a couple of points about yesterdays game, firstly well done to the Warriors, your defence won you the game, Leeds should have scored a hatful but some sloppy execution and some stout defence kept us out. Secondly that was a seriously undermotivated Leeds side yesterday, why? i dont know, but to see Tony Smith trying to raise the intensity and energy levels in the dressing room at half time told the tale. I reckon we were still carrying the hang-over from last week, some of our big names were simply not there today. So well done pies and lets fope you knock out the Saints next. Lastly to the idiots involved in the scuffling in the ground, DON"T COME BACK! whichever fans were to blame we really dont need or want you, go and watch Wendy Ball with the other children and social inadequates.

well Bigbilly. If YOU hadn't been banging on all week about how unfair Millenium was then you wouldn't have heard a single Leeds fan mention the 2003 Final. To say there was nothing wrong in that proves a one-eyed view of the Dulls games. As for yesterday Wigan deserved the win and good luck to them in the next round. Dignity in victory and dignity in defeat. Now what time are the mighty Wakey on!!!!!!!!!

everyone is talking about if leeds had taken their chances the result may have been different.
but what about the chances that wigan didn't take?
there has been no mention of it. it is just being used as an excuse for the rhinos fans.
and why is it that when rhinos lose, its always that they didn't play well or the referee didn't give us a chance? its never that the other team played better.

bow'ls: contraction of bowels. Mild expletive aimed at someone who has just spoken forth without self-consciousness in an ass like manner. Has come to be used as a catch-all insult. See bum.
