ericthegod9 (U8369239) posted May 15, 2007 with respect to Andrewg82, Nicky Butt is a great player, but needs at least some experience before being considered for a managerial job. Who knows, Stuart pearce is free now? maybe this could even be the time to bring Ron Atkinson back into the managerial fold? has all the experience and has worked with some great players - Bryan robson, mark hughes, norman whiteside, stapelton, dion dublin etc.

jimdoom (U7556799) posted May 16, 2007 Re-sign David Healy; i agree brian kerr is no good but it would be stupid to discount any-one just because they never played professional. like Wegner, Mouriniho, Houllier. I know they wont be interested in the NI job but they prove you dont need to be a former pro to be a good manager

bionicscoobym (U8487165) posted May 28, 2007 I know this will be a bit out of the blue & perhaps a long shot, but has anyone considered the return of Terry Nicholson (ex Portadown, Glenavon & Cliftonville)? People would like to see a local man for the job who can motivate. Comment on this article
