Looking gloomy about Tevez

comment on the article

I hope that the articles in The Sun and Independent are premature in stating that Tevez has already declared he's off. I would love to see him and Ashton up front (if we stay up!) and think they would be a seriously formidable partnership. Not sure that Hammers would want to live with the £31m being talked about for AC Milan or Sevilla to bag him.

I also hope it doesn't have a detrimental effect on squad in advance of OT outing.

Reassuring to see PL continuing to fight their corner over the registration issue and basically telling our similarly relegation threatened friends that all is futile. If they want to line lawyer's pockets though I suppose that's up to them.

yeh of course neova, west ham are so stupid they are still breaking the rules even after the FA investigated them and fined them 5 million, the FA must of just missed this other "issue" even though its the same issue. Dont be so silly. Everyone is just idling saying anything.

I doubt anyone here knows anything whatsoever about the financial dealings of a football club other than it involves bits of paper and grubby hands

pinnicleoffruit i think the issue is now not went before, but that west ham reassured the premier League that they had ripped up the illegal contract with MSI. However if MSI are indeed trying to sell Tevez then they pbviouslyt still believe the contract is in place which means west ham still do not own the player. All that really needs to be done is for the PL to see a copy of a letter signed by both parties annulling the prvious contract, its that simple. Alas nothing appears to be simple with the PL anymore.

well losing carlos would be a massive blow for west ham, but its not the end of big players coming to play for us. tevez is quality and if he does keep us up on sunday, we will be so grateful for his presence this season.

we have the expenses to pay what ever money for any player. i say lets get owen for £9m and eider gudjohnson for £8m, imagine that strikeforce with ashton and zamora also battling out for places.

MsI are a dodgy company and we need to get away from it. we could possilbly buy tevez and match the asking price. i think msi are offering him to other clubsto see how much they evaluate him, then ask for more off west ham in the last stages of the deal.

heads up hammers, we have to get sunday over with first.

Congrats to big bad wolf on supporting a really entertaining side. So glad ashley young went to villa instead of upton park. People are so bothered about west hams situation they'd do well to focus on their own teams. As for Dave Whelan, thankyou for your timely outburst after the west ham game. Instead of upsetting the apple cart at west ham like, i'm sure was intended, you have spread fear and a lack of confidence within your own ranks. Wigan have no place in the premier league, they are a rugby mad town with very little affection to the beautiful game, just look at the stands on matchday.

Was in a number of papers not just the currant. If a Murdoch rag told me the sky was blue I'd stick me head out the window and check.

Carlos don't wanna learn English anymore? Gotta learn to speak manc, our kid, it seems. If hammers stay up it would be good to see Deano and him back. See how it goes, I guess....

It'll be a real shame if Tevez leaves the prem next season, he's a quality player who loves football, I'm not a hammer but I love the guy.

The number of quality players all through the league (Krancjar - Portsmouth, Fernandes - Everton, Tevez - WHU, Bent - Charlton, Carew - Aston Villa) is what has made this season the best since Newcastle, Man U, Liverpool and Arsenal were all on a par and it'll be a real shame if the league loses this level of competition next season.

112silverdale - no it's not that simple. there is such a thing in the law as 'unilateral termination of contract'- which means west ham could terminate the contract themselves, do not necessarily need the permission of both parties. not sure if it would apply in this case tho since it deals with shared ownership of a player
