Match Fixing

Premiership Sheffield United
comment on the article

What's the betting that Sheff Utd will field a weakened team against Wigan on the last day of the season just to spite us (West Ham Utd)?

And Boro may also throw their match too.

I think Liverpool will rise above all this and go for the win at Fulham but if match fixing comes into play - do you think these clubs should be deducted points?

Sorry Watford.

I meant I had a dream and West Ham, Fulham and Charlton were relegated and replaced by Doncaster, Rotherham and Chesterfield - but then I woke up. It was great while it lasted though. smiley

Match fixing? As opposed to knowingly cheating by signing players you were not allowed to? West Ham should be the last ones to accuse anybody of cheating.

Good idea. If we don't need the points by then, and Wham aren't already down (probably will be though) then let's do it and send 'em packing.

Never heard such arrogance in all my life as what's coming out of Wham fans these days.

That's an idea.

What weakened team would you play against Wigan to send West Ham down

Mine is:-

Ankergren,

Richardson, Foxe, Marques, Gray,

Blake, Kishishev, Thompson, Lewis

Cresswell, Healy.

I think fixing the Wigan game would be a great idea (as if we'll ever be given that luxury!!) And then at the end of next season we can be investigated by an independent premiership commission, be found absolutely not guilty of anything important and fined £25. End of.

I hope we do, if the premiership won't offer proper justice then the blades will have a great chance to do so

I don't think we'll be able to afford such luxuries. If Wigan and/or Wham only draw today and we lose, then we still need a point from game 38 to be sure. Of course if Wham lose today, then we're safe anyway on goal difference. West Ham 1 - Bolton 2 is the gateway to happiness!

Maybe a more likely scenario is that Wigan and us might both need a draw to be safe. Germany & Austria once strolled to a draw in a World Cup group game. Never got punished either 'cos how can you prove it? Someone tell Warnock & Jewell quick!
