Leeds United in Administration....

Championship Leeds United
comment on the article

if the rumours are true and Leeds do go into Administration during this week then I feel for the fans and wish them all the best.

As a Bradford City fan I can fully appreciate the worries and concerns that you will be feeling.

Regretably, as we have also been relegated, we will not be playing Leeds next season in two matches that would have been great for both clubs bank balances.

Best of luck to you and I hope that your club and fans pull through and emerge stronger after this.

Ok so everyone hates us - do we look bovvered. As for the man U fans I,ve heard it all now. I suppose you all go to the game on your way to church, and those Galatasaray supporters club banners you held aloft just after our 2 fans were murdured were figments of our imagination. All I can say is that you are either blind or you don't actually go to the games as the Man U fans you describe are not the same ones I've seen at matches.

Kramer: Thanks - we won't forget our real friends.

LankyLanciManDan: Learn to spell before you try to say something 'clever'. Have fun munching those prawn sandwiches, what happened to the protests against the new owners? You guys are all talk, no soul.

I don't want to inflame the situation (!) but as an Ipswich fan I'm thrilled to bits that we helped to put Leeds a little bit closer to the Conference. I used to admire the Leeds of the Don Revie era, but in recent years the hate and thuggery of their fans (OK perhaps a minority, but I've been sat uncomfortably close to them on occasions!) has been a disgrace to English football. The Championship is well rid of them. Decent Leeds fans will perhaps need to work to get their house back in order.

Nobody likes their team to go down. I'm a Sunderland fan so I've been through the agony more often than I'd like to remember. However, the worst three teams go down and Leeds were definitely one of the worst three teams. I feel for their decent fans, but unfortunately the bampots causing trouble have given them all a bad name.

a shameful display by the fans on saturday left the club with a poor reputation, both in terms of the club itself and the fans. if you cant cope with being beaten and technically relegated, you shouldnt go to games, you should stay home and knit!
i feel the arrogance about leeds has finally caught up with them and kicked them in the face, and i vey much doubt well be hearing anything positive about leeds for a long long while yet. good i say!

I'm a football fan first and foremost, and a Leeds fan second. I was amazed at the way Man U blew Roma away, and it was fantastic to see Liverpool winning the Champions League trophy last year. I've just read many of the comments under this heading, and am appalled at the hate spewed out in quite a few of them. A few of you have mentioned that ALL teams have their bad element, those that can't see beyond 'supporting' their team, and they show this by hating everyone else. You only have to watch a game on television, and look at these 'supporters' when a corner's being taken by the opposition, and see the vitriol aimed at the player taking it. This happens at EVERY game, proving it's not just Leeds.
On another point, I don't feel as gutted as I maybe should. After all, the only thing that's left of the infrastructure of the club I've followed for 30 years is the name. The changes within have been total, and I don't recognise the club anymore.
Many thanks to all the fans of other teams who have offered support for the club, you are the real football supporters!!
