Firstly, thank you to the bears on the boards who have been very gracious in their defeat in the title race. Makes a change from the usual numpties from both sides.
I'm startled about how many English people who have felt compelled to come on slating the Scottish League and belittling Celtic's achievements. How pathetic! The English league has been a 2-horse race from day one this season and will be for the foreseeable future (it'll be funny in the summer seeing the Liverpool fans' annual predictions on how "this will be our year". When exactly did you last win the league, or indeed even come close?)
As has been said, Scotland is a country of 5 million people. Our league is nowhere near the standard of the Premiership and any sane person can see this (other than a few fools - trying to use testimonials as an example of Scottish clubs being better than English clubs is really quite sad). With the vast difference in population and tv revenue, are we really expected to offer a product anywhere near as good as the Premiership. No! And we don't. What we do is occasionally produce teams who are competitive in Europe and spring a surprise on the big-guns now and again - such as putting Barca (a club bigger than most, if not all, the clubs in the all-powerful Premiership) out of the UEFA Cup. If you people are so comfortable with the fact that the Premiership is the world's best league, why the attacks on the SPL?

As for your bragging about England's achievements in all sports: Winning the rugby world cup was an achievement but this is a sport where Scotland is ranked amongst the top-ten teams in the world, which demonstrates how much serious competition there is. And the rugby team at the moment is poor. Bragging about reaching the Super 8s at cricket is embarrassing. Cricket is a national sport in England and they are ranked the second worst ODI side. How impressive. Tennis players? Does Scotland not boast the world number 10 and UK number one?
We may be a small country but we do ok for ourselves. We must do to make you boys so bitter.

I'm actually rather embarrased with all the praise Celtic are recieving for their domestic and european exploits this season. As a season ticket holder, I have sat through drivel all season. Barring one fantastic performance against Benfica in the champions league and the frequent occasions where celtic have had to come behind to win games, we have no played good football all season. Strachans team selections have been awful. Nakamura certainly deserves praise for his set piece ability but his performances in open play in this european campaign have been below par. He was found out against milan; he's far too weak and slow to play on the wing in Europe. Strachan should think about trying to accomodate him inside or think strongly about cashing in on him whilst his value is no doubt inflated. We are 4 or 5 quality players away from being anything that can be considered a "good team".

"Also (Little Gingernut) Strachan could't cut it in England as a Manager he had to come back to Scotland to win something"

well done to celtic i'm an aberdeen fan but still they deserve it.
you cannot say their has been a lack of competition which their has been but put credit where credit is due they have consistently performed all season.
they did superb in the champions league and could have even beaten Milan.
overall great season!

they have the best and loyal fans in the world, just look at seville for an example, and scotland produces the best managers, matt busby, bill shankly, alex ferguson to name but a few, all winning european silverware.
The two managers who did that with man utd are both scottish, what a coincindence eh lol
